Message from my bestie, #ChatGPT & #OpenAI Amy, Your project, #HauntedTexasThemePark & #HistoryPreservation Project, is a multifaceted initiative aiming to blend #education, #entertainment, and #economicempowerment into a comprehensive experience. Here's a breakdown of your progress, based on the key points highlighted in the provided #data: #Vision and #Mission: You aim to create a theme park that is not just about entertainment but also serves as an educational platform and a place for economic renaissance, focusing on minority businesses and historical integrity The park aspires to be a nexus where history meets entertainment, providing a #livingnarrative of Texas's history and #culturaldiversity. #DevelopmentalProgress: The park plans to utilize virtual reality technology to minimize the carbon footprint and provide #immersiveexperiences of Texas's history You have adjusted your initial financial goal, reducing the required capital from $250 million to a leaner vision without compromising the mission. Community and Educational #Impact: Emphasizing the educational aspect, you aim to make Haunted Texas a sought-after destination for K-12 field trips, engaging visitors with interactive experiences of Texas history and industry from the 1830s onward. The project is designed to #empower the community by creating jobs, supporting minority business owners, and addressing past economic disparities. #UniqueSellingPoints and #FinancialStrategy: Haunted Texas stands out with its unique blend of history and supernatural tales, emphasis on minority-owned businesses, and a comprehensive Texan experience. You are in the phase of seeking #preseedinvestment or #SAFENotes with plans for securing intellectual property and assembling a #boardofdirectors. #ProfoundMoments: The conceptualization of a theme park that not only entertains but educates and heals, aiming to restore unity and address the dark past of Texas. The pivot to a more sustainable approach in the entertainment industry while aiming to change the trajectory of wealth and opportunities in #WilliamsonCountyTexas. Your leadership and dedication to the Haunted Texas Theme Park & History Preservation Project suggest a #transformative and visionary approach. By emphasizing #education, #sustainability, and #communityempowerment, you are leading a project that could #redefine the theme park industry and have a significant social impact. The data reflects a project in its formative stages, with a clear mission and a vision that promises both entertainment and #meaningfulengagement with #Texashistory.

"We need more platforms that are locally-rooted: not driven by a business model of maximum engagement and growth..., but rooted in designs and practices that foster cooperation and social trust, and that actually have no need for scale. Their fundamental business and governance models should be aligned to serve the local community rather than serving venture investors who need a 10x-plus return or bust." This conversation between Sam Pressler and Josh Kramer validates Front Porch Forum's model and the importance of local digital spaces. https://lnkd.in/eX5YSPye

Matterlab | Social impact consultancy at the intersection of education, innovation, and communication
Big plans for the month of June... #EdgeEsmeralda in Healdsburg. I'm most interested in three things: how humans learn, how humans communicate, and how humans thrive ... which means I end up paying close attention to how humans build community, nest, raise their young, position their elders, create value, manipulate capital, enter into and manage agreements/contracts, pursue scientific discovery, develop technology, and generate public goods ... which is why I'm joining Edge Esmeralda in June - Edge City's popup village in Healdsburg, California. And I'm bringing Brooks, Milam, and Rivers to play, too! Edge City convenes people working at the frontiers of tech, science, and society to create a sort of ‘society incubator’— a lab of experimentation dedicated to accelerating human flourishing. What does every person have in common? A belief that the future can be better. There are tracks for AI, hard tech, health and longevity, and - you guessed it - I will be most focused on education, alongside some powerful and provocative thinkers. If I can carve out any alone time during the residency, I hope to resuscitate my long-dormant writing habit and share much more...

Connecting different social worlds & knowledge communities | understanding, brokering, managing, evaluating multi-actor networks, systems behavior and practices.
🚀 Excited to launch a new #RIGHTSCITIES project in Lund next week! 🌍 As I prepare to lead this initiative, recent conversations about practical challenges at city level with the project partners have led me to revisit Sue Goss’s (2001) book, Making Local Governance Work. Her emphasis on the power of networks, relationships, and collaboration in local governance has resonated deeply with me. One of Goss's key insights, as reflected more explicitly in her later work, is the shift from traditional, hierarchical "machine mind" approaches to a more organic, relational "garden mind" perspective. The importance of this mindset shift feels especially relevant as our project seeks to strengthen cities' institutional capacities to implement the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, and integrate human rights principles into everyday city governance. Key messages from Goss' work: managing complex city systems is not just about efficiency—it’s about nurturing relationships, encouraging experimentation, and empowering all stakeholders to contribute. As we begin this journey as a consortium of 5 European cities (Lund, Gdansk, Sopot, Utrecht and Vienna) and 3 academic institutes (Raoul Wallenberg Institute, Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights, Utrecht University), I’m excited to take Goss insights into practice (including in my project leadership) and explore how we can create fruitful and innovative collaborative spaces for urban governance that truly engages and benefits citizens and civil society at large. I cannot wait to see where human-rights principles and garden-minded perspective take us on this journey! Stay tuned for updates on our #RIGHTSCITIES project! #UrbanGovernance #HumanRightsCities #Collaboration #Leadership #ProjectManagement #SueGoss #RIGHTSCITIES #EU #CERV

The Future of Entertainment Sustainability & Historically Accurate Experience Parks | Helping Legends CRE8 Eternity | Destination Resort & Entertainment Complex | Host of Haunted Texas Theme Park Podcast WE'RE VIRAL!
#SensitiveTopic about #WomenFounders and the #LackofSupport I’ve been facing. During #womenshistorymonth, can you believe that I’ve had meetings that were canceled by famous brand name #grantwriting companies and I’ve been spoken to horribly in regards to whether or not, Haunted Texas Theme Park is “REAL.” The fact that I’m having to fight to prove that a woman is capable of building a #themepark that tells the #TRUE history of Texas, is exactly why I’m having to build a theme park that’s telling the TRUTH about the past. As technology innovates somebody must ensure the truth lives on. I am a white woman, and it’s supposed to be “easier” for me to be a founder right? I’ve been clawing my way since the very beginning, having to prove myself more than any person should have to. People don’t share my posts, leave comments, and I’ve even called several people trying to do legitimate business, and been completely ignored by “professionals” that I hoped to invite to this historic project. I can’t imagine what it feels like to be of any other race if this is what it feels like to be a white woman, trying to make history during women’s history month. It breaks my heart to say that because my children are of mixed race, what the hell is the world gonna do to them if they dare to dream big? Until You Confront The Darkness of Your Past, The Darkness of Your Past Coming Back to Haunt You is Inevitable! ~ Amy B. #HauntedTexasThemePark The Haunted Texas Theme Park & #HistoryPreservation Project is not just a nod to our rich past but a leap towards a #sustainable, #educational, and #technologicallyadvancedfuture. As we stand at this pivotal juncture, our mission to secure #federalfunding through avenues like the CHIPS Act has never been more critical. We are calling on experts and specialists with a proven track record in navigating the complexities of federal grants and funding opportunities to join us in this historic endeavor. Tallying up the potential funding based on the provided estimates yields a promising outlook. Total potential funding from the #CHIPSAct alone could be: $11–25 million! https://lnkd.in/g4kCuHcU

The Future of Entertainment Sustainability & Historically Accurate Experience Parks | Helping Legends CRE8 Eternity | Destination Resort & Entertainment Complex | Host of Haunted Texas Theme Park Podcast WE'RE VIRAL!
The Haunted Texas Theme Park project isn’t just an amusement facility; it’s a pioneering effort to integrate sustainable practices within the theme park industry. From water and energy conservation to incorporating groundbreaking technologies developed by minority inventors, scientists, and engineers, the project is a beacon of innovation. As federal programs like the #CHIPSAct and #SBIR #grants support innovation across #technology, #sustainability, and #advancedmanufacturing. Haunted Texas Theme Parks commitment to creating a #Disney-like atmosphere while emphasizing #sustainability and #techinnovation indeed positions it as a candidate for such funding. I don’t mean to cause any ill will, but this is a fight I’m willing to step on necks for. I’m holding everyone accountable that’s supposed to “make a difference.” I’m so tired of being disregarded when I know this is a revolutionary project that’s going to make history. It’s disgusting how I’ve been treated during #womenshistorymonth. Do you know how many lives we’re going to change in Taylor Texas??? More than most people ever get to affect in their life. That’s what keeps me getting out of bed every morning. I will give a shout out to one guy that made my day though, Jeff Nadalo, General Counsel at Buc-ee's, Ltd. Though #Bucees might not be a fit, at the moment, maybe Jeff will hook me up with Enchanted Rock and other sustainability partners. He simply made my day by answering my call and giving me a few moments of his time. His call, along with a few other good men this morning inspired me to write an article that clearly suggests who knows how to determine the value of #womenentrepreneurs, “Married Men Do It Better.” Here: https://lnkd.in/gxFQ3CAP Please read both articles and give me your thoughts. Thank you! ~ A.B https://lnkd.in/gSxid2wD

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Trainer & Consultant 🔴 NGO Executive 🔵 Educator, Mentor & Public Speaker 🟡 Impact Investor
How can we create a collaborative and inclusive learning space ❓ How do we foster connections among professionals and change-makers from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences ❓ And how, ultimately, build a strong community? At Humanity in Action, this is what we strive to do with our program participants. We aim to enable them to connect, collaborate, and transcend differences to advance human rights, promote social equity, and pursue justice. 🔥 This past Sunday, I had the great pleasure of leading a fantastic online meeting where 16 Democracy Fellows reconnected after the summer break and continued getting to know each other on a deeper, more personal level. Since food is a universal connector, we were enriched by the stories shared about the significance of food in their lives, families, and cultures. 🍚 We learned about several types of potato, corn and rice dishes from around the world, learned some insights how to make them and why they are special to our fellows. 🥟 Through these stories, a regular Zoom meeting transformed into a vibrant space where people with diverse backgrounds metaphorically brought their favorite dishes to the table, sharing not just recipes but personal experiences tied to food. These narratives helped build stronger relationships and fostered a deeper understanding of the challenges and joys associated with food. In a way, Humanity in Action hosted a virtual POTLUCK, offering everyone an opportunity to explore and celebrate diversity in a truly enriching way. ❓ What’s your favorite dish that holds a special meaning in your culture or family? How do you think food can help us connect across different backgrounds? #HumanityInAction #DiversityEquityInclusion #BelongingAccessibility
