For over 60 years, Taconic’s PTFE coated fabrics, tapes, and belts have helped screen printing companies improve manufacturing processes, increase product output and, in turn, reduce costs. A job once achieved on an individual product basis – Ink drying during the screen-printing process has evolved to include large scale, mass production, 2+ belt drying conveyor machines. The high temperature, fast paced, nature of these machines has amplified the need for quality, nonstick, PTFE coated materials… and Taconic’s PTFE coated belts are exactly that. Taconic produces a wide range of durable, temperature resistant, nonstick belts for gas screen printing conveyor dryers. Whether it’s a 48” double belt design, or 84” triple belt design, Taconic has the right belt for you. Taconic also works closely with Membrane Switch manufacturers using flex circuit designs on Polymer Thick Film (PTF) as the manufacturing processes, and machines used, are like that of screen printing. We understand that unique production methods may require unique belt designs, splicing, or guides. Let us co-develop a belt that fits your needs! Finding a better way... For preparing a part for 3D printing, consider the following five essential calculations: 1. Volume and Material Usage: Calculate the volume of the model to determine how much material will be needed, which helps in estimating costs and ensuring sufficient filament. 2. Print Time Estimation: Use slicing software to estimate print time based on layer height, print speed, and model complexity, helping you plan and manage your schedule. 3. Layer Height and Resolution: Determine the appropriate layer height based on desired resolution and strength, impacting surface finish and printing time. 4. Infill Density: Calculate the optimal infill percentage based on the part's intended use, balancing strength and material consumption. 5. Support Structures: Analyze areas needing support and calculate the necessary support density and patterns to ensure proper overhangs without excessive material use. #3dprinter #3dprint #additivemanufacturing #metalprinting #shapes

Ordering parts with metal 3D printing? Make sure that you know the most important design rules before you get started: 1️⃣ Melting and cooling during production can result in thermally induced stresses. Make sure to take process-specific restrictions into account when designing, like chamfering corners 2️⃣ Generally, the minimum wall thickness is 0.5 or 1 mm, but you should increase that to 2 mm for load-bearing elements 3️⃣ Minimize the contact area between support structures and the component to simplify post-processing Now you’re ready to get started! Get all the details about metal 3D printing’s technical specifications, materials, and more here: https://mtls.am/3SBd5Rl #Metal3DPrinting #3DPrinting

Stainless steel, known for its corrosion resistance and high hardness, is a versatile material option for many applications. At Modo Rapid, we offer two grades of stainless steel through our advanced 3D printing service: Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Primary Benefits: Heat treated for full hardness and strength Exceptional corrosion resistance Select 17-4 PH for significantly higher tensile and yield strength. Note that it has less elongation at break compared to 316L. Final parts built with 17-4 PH undergo vacuum solution heat treatment and H900 aging. Stainless Steel 316L Primary Benefits: Superior acid and corrosion resistance High ductility Choose 316L when flexibility is needed. It is more malleable than 17-4 PH. Final parts built with 316L receive a stress relief application. Discover the benefits of our 3D printing services for stainless steel parts and elevate your projects with Modo Rapid’s precision and quality. #3DPrinting #StainlessSteel #AdditiveManufacturing #ModoRapid

【How to choose an Inline Flexo Press for Your Blown Film Extrusion Lines?】 You can maximize operational efficiency by integrating the blow film extrusion with the inline flexo press. Integrating flexographic printing with the blow film extrusion machine allows for direct printing of designs, logos, patterns, and text onto the film as it is being produced. This integration will reduce the need for additional printing processes after the film extrusion operation. As a result, your throughput will increase, your downtime will decrease, and your waste will be minimized. In an ESG-focused era, this will give you a competitive edge in the market. However, this is only possible if you have chosen the right inline flexographic press to go with your blown film extrusion line. Here are three attributes to look for in an inline flexographic press 1. is it equipped with fast job change features 2. is it operator friendly 3. can it deliver quality print... https://lnkd.in/gqpxdZAc

Zecher's H.I.T. (High Ink Transfer) engraving has been part of the superior standard for high-quality prints for years. With its unique open cell geometry, it ensures a higher and more homogeneous ink transfer, making it ideal for applications such as opaque white printing, lacquering and coating. 💡 H.I.T. is not only about high performance, but also about reliability and consistent results. 🚀 The engraving is suitable for lacquer units in offset printing and for coating machines, but also applicable in flexo printing, depending on technical machine parameters, the applied ink and the printing speed. 💸 One of the biggest advantages is the potential savings due to lower ink consumption. Information on the savings potential can be found in our H.I.T. brochure, which is linked in the first comment. 👉 Discover the benefits of our H.I.T. technology and contact us or your local Zecher sales partner to discuss your individual requirements: https://lnkd.in/gQzgbJWy #zecher #aniloxrollers #hit #engraving #highinktransfer
