🌍 Thank you, Esri UK Welsh Conference! 🌍 We had a fantastic time yesterday attending and presenting "Delivering Sustainable Development Projects" at the Esri UK Welsh Conference! It was a pleasure sharing how the Esri platfrom is enabling us to drive sustainable projects and to engage with such a passionate audience. Special thanks to Juan Ramón Mena from FCC Construcción for co-presenting with us and bringing his expertise about the A465 Section 5 and 6 project to the session! Beyond our own presentation, we were thrilled to attend so many insightful talks. A highlight from our GIS Technician Tom Russell is shared below: “Jon Dollery's talk about his work at The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales (CBHC / RCAHMW) was fascinating. He brought an often-overlooked issue to the day, and showcased brilliantly that creativity, when paired with powerful Esri products, can reach into problems of social and historical identities that are rooted in time and space. A pathbreaking way of doing history.” Big thanks to Esri UK for bringing together so many interesting people and presentations. We’re already looking forward to next year! #ESRIUKWelshConf #SustainableDevelopment #GISInnovation #TACP #HistoricalMapping #Networking #GIS

Happy GIS Day to all the wonderful mappers, risk-takers, and trailblazers in our amazing discipline! The quote below, shared by Jack Dangermond at the 2024 Esri UC, embodies the values that continue to guide me on this wonderful journey. The GIS framework we participate in is disseminated as maps that provide context to a situation; making the complexity of the world understandable. How to communicate necessary information rapidly? How upgrade our analysis and visulation techniques to fit the needs of an emergency response. All are thoughts and questions that motivate me daily to strive to make this world a better place, brick by brick. #GISDay

Did you get your free copy of our ArcGIS Utility Network White Paper yet? https://lnkd.in/dkB5XSUZ Download it now and get a head start on the ArcGIS Utility Network! Check out the animation below to see the countries from which organizations have downloaded the Volue white paper, just 9 months after its release at last year’s Esri IMGIS 2024 International conference. This white paper is a must-read for electric DSOs operating a balanced three-phase grid. It details what to document, why it's important, and how to tailor the ArcGIS Utility Network model released by Esri to meet your needs optimally. Created in close collaboration between Esri Gold partner Volue and Norway’s largest DSO, Elvia, this white paper is based on decades of experience working with leading electric utilities in Scandinavia. It's a valuable resource for our customers, any DSO heading towards ArcGIS UN, Esri partners, and those looking to shape the market. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your knowledge and capabilities.
