The River Culture Pavilion was completed in 2012 by Birdair's sister company, Taiyo Europe GmbH, spanning approximately 21,000 square feet. The bold curved form of the ARC is perched on a peninsula that juts into the river, surrounded by an awe-inspiring natural environment. The building is a strong focal point set against a stunning panoramic landscape. The architecture comprises a vessel-shaped form clad in silver fritted TensoSky® ETFE Film pillows that, through a play of transparency and geometry, create an ephemeral effect.
