🧥 Did you know? Clothing isn’t considered an “essential item” by the government—even though it’s illegal to walk around without it. For thousands in our community, lack of access to clean, decent clothing isn’t just about comfort; it’s a barrier to dignity, self-respect, and opportunity. Right now, we have 64 organizations at 86 locations in Los Angeles on our waitlist, urgently requesting clothing for those they serve. Many of these organizations are part of the continuum of care and receive significant government funding—yet as a nonprofit dedicated to providing clothing as a basic necessity, we don’t qualify for that support. Help us bridge this gap. Together, we can work toward a world where no one has to go without the essentials. 💙
