Your interview will come. Your offer will come. Your new role will come. This low will eventually be met with a high. What is lost will be regained. What is weakened will be strengthened. Clarity will replace the obscurity. Opportunity will replace your adversity. Calm will replace the storm. Your resiliency will propel you forward. We all break down from time to time. No one is perfect. No career is perfect. Sometimes progress is disguised as perceived failure, especially when the results aren’t immediate, uncertainty is looming, and the pressure is building up. Trust in yourself, your faith and your ability to perservere. Your persistence, actions, and efforts will pay off. Don’t give up.

Reminder if you’re struggling to get a job right now: It’s not a reflection of your value and true worth. Your identity is so much bigger than: - Your job title - The company you work for - How much money you make Don’t attach your value to the wrong metrics in life. And where it concerns your job search: Remember, you're seeking alignment to the right role, not affirmation from everyone. Agree with this? Repost it and let’s spread it to the world.

After taking a career break, I’m back on the market, searching for that one special role meant for me ✨. I’ve seen so many posts about the challenges people face in finding the right job—stories of recruiters ghosting candidates, fake job postings, and unreasonable responsibilities paired with low salaries, among others. I have no doubt I’ll encounter some of these too, but I want to say this to all job seekers and my future self: Even when it feels like the universe isn’t on your side, never undervalue yourself or lowball your worth. Stay resilient, and don’t let the "Thank you for the dialogue, but..." or "After careful consideration, we’ve decided not to move forward..." live rent-free in your head. You are talented, capable, and skilled. Every interview setback is a stepping stone, giving you a nugget of knowledge and preparing you for the job that’s meant for YOU! Most importantly, protect your energy and stay away from negativity—avoid that bad juju. You don’t need it in your life. Heck yeah—you’ve got this!!

"You've Always Had My Back" Today, I was reminded of why I love what I do. A long-time client, who became a candidate after being let go due to group issues, reached out feeling uncertain about re-entering the job market. We had a lengthy conversation, exploring targeted opportunities that aligned with his interests and expertise. What touched me most was his response: "You've always had my back throughout the years. That's why I've continued to work with you." This moment reinforced the value of building and maintaining long-term relationships in our industry. It's not just about placing candidates; it's about being there for them through the ups and downs of their careers. To all my connections: remember that your professional journey is a marathon, not a sprint. Surround yourself with people who support you, even when times are tough. And if you're feeling lost or uncertain about your next career move, don't hesitate to reach out. Sometimes, all it takes is a conversation to reignite your confidence.

THE BEST CAREER ADVICE I'VE RECEIVED. It wasn't "Hang In There" although that has it's place. In the spirit of supporting and feeling supported, which I have been reflecting on a lot lately, I did a roundup of the best career advice that I’ve received over the years. My professional golden rules, if you will. https://lnkd.in/ehK8Kvg2 1. Don’t talk shit about your employer, boss, or colleagues. EVER. 2. Keep doing things that are important to you. 3. You only get one chance to be the new kid on the block. 4. People can have success at any time in their lives. 5. Don’t look for a job, look for the people you want to work with. 6. The fish rots from the head down. What are you professional golden rules? Drop them in the comments.
