This is why company culture is important - especially in the world of influencer marketing 👇🏾 Down below, @miylifestyle on tiktok made a 4-part story detailing her experience with a huge beauty brand. Her story quickly went viral with millions of views and people immediately rose to her defense. What happened next? The company began to face backlash which opened the opportunity to spotlight competitors. And so she did. Miylifestyle gained a beauty collaboration with BaskandLather, co. A direct competitor. A small beauty business which has now skyrocketed into the limelight. Pay attention to the team behind the successful media, successful influencers, and successful businesses. You never know how valuable and influential your employees are until they talk about their experiences. You never know when they will become the face of your brand. #influencers #influencermarketing #companyculture

Running a small business is a lot of work, yet gratifying because I love my purpose. What I do struggle with is how to market my business on social media. Are high ticket influencers worth it? Am I the only one who doesn’t want the user to say it’s great because they are paid? I want them to say it’s great because it’s great! Can actual client testimonials be equally as influential over time? As I enter into small business ownership I welcome any advice or recommended reads you may have as to growing socially with honest integrity! And to those of you who are influencers, you are appreciated by those of us who are not tech savvy! #influencers #growyourbusiness #smallbusinessowner #character

It’s crazy how influencers, often distinguished from traditional celebrities, are increasingly prominent in so many settings. They grace panels, enjoy exclusive access to events, and even walk the red carpets at prestigious occasions like the Oscars. But, are they truly the right fit for these spaces? While influencers undoubtedly wield significant influence, it begs the question: should they be granted more access than those who’ve dedicated their careers to the industry? It’s a complex dynamic that challenges the traditional hierarchy. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Do you believe influencers deserve such prominence at celebrity events? Or should there be a reassessment of how access is granted? #Influencers #InfluencerMarketing #LetsChat #IndustryInsights #CelebrityEvents

Influencer consultant for brands (OREO, Land O’Lakes, Frigidaire, Albertsons and more) and agencies (Edelman, Ketchum, Weber Shandwick, etc.)
In my behind-the-scenes conversations with brands, I’ve heard about a trend that I want to share here as an “insider” tip for #influencers. If you want to work with a brand, treat them like a client *now*. Which is to say, several of my colleagues acknowledged that they noticed influencers posting about their brands DAILY and felt compelled to establish formal partnerships with them. (This is a smart move, brand friends, because it’s always better to have a hand in crafting the conversation where and when you can.) Influencers—> you can’t do this with every (or just any) brand. Be selective. Make it count. If you approach it with a “you first” attitude, you’ll gain traction. #influencermarketing #marketingstrategy #professionaldevelopment

CEO at @Socialnix | I grow brands on Social Media 📈| I turn views into $$$$ of REVENUE 💰| Not just your average marketer 💅
In 2024, your follower count comes second to your engagement rate 🔥 The days of picking influencers to promote your product or service based on their number of followers has gone 🙅♀️ 👉 Brands have realised that a larger following doesn't necessarily mean an engaged audience For example: Micro influencers were on a major surge for the last few years, the importance of niche was very heightened But I do think that's changing, too! The new sweet spot is going to be around the mid-tier, 50k - 800k, in my opinion 🫣 What do you think? PS: How’s my new hair style? #Social #Influencer #Marketing

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” This saying has never been more true for communicators today. That's why #influencers are key. Finding the right influencers that align with your organization is crucial, allowing you to build mutually reinforcing partnerships. Here's a four-step process for success with influencers: 🔎 Find aligned influencers 🤝 Build a relationship with shared values 🔁 Encourage two-way collaboration 📝 Involve influencers in content creation By creating a sense of common purpose, content creators can become supporters of your cause while still taking their own path. The micro-influencer myth: Bigger isn't always better. Most brands chase celebrity endorsements. They're playing the wrong game. Here's why micro-influencers are the secret weapon: • Higher engagement rates • More authentic connections • Niche-specific audiences • Cost-effective partnerships But there's a catch: You can't approach them like traditional influencers. The key? Build genuine relationships. Here's how: 1. Identify aligned micro-influencers

Last year we saw an interesting shift in the #social sphere. While #influencers have long been seen as a good #tactical channel, the question became: "how to bring influencers at the #core of the big #idea?" How to treat influencers as a channel that technically could be compared to any 'traditional channel for launching an idea'. Could influencers be THE channel? How to make this bunch of individuals sing the same song and find ways to ensure cohesiveness while respecting the fact that many of them have a unique voice? I see social-first systems (for big ideas) as one of the big industry trends moving forward too, with influencer strategy and the craft of influencer creativity at the heart of it all. These systems have always been around (we've done these for years too), now they just seem to be getting on the driver's seat. The Ye of the Workplace | Marketing Strategist | Content Creator-ish | Product Designer | Entrepreneur |
✨One of my favorite influencer campaigns that I ran was actually for my own personal business, where I design handbags and many more things through my company ARMINO WU! I worked with a handful of influencers and YouTubers, sending them personalized PR boxes, and they promoted my purses on their platforms for months! MONTHS! They loved the product so much that they were constantly promoting it, which evidently helped me with sales during my Black Friday push! The power that influencers have to influence people to buy is a beautiful thing to witness, and seeing your products resonate with them and their audience is incredibly rewarding🥲. #influencers #influencermarketing #talentmanager #contentcreator #marketing #socialmediamarketing

chronically online girl sharing internet’s most unserious moments 🙃 | 🎙️ content writer, podcast host & guest lecturer | 💌 subscribe to my newsletter for weekly internet culture recaps
This is the most underrated influencer partnership in my opinion: 👉🏾 Event sponsorships I’m not talking about regular events where influencers get invited. I’m talking about events where brands invest into creator’s communities. Instead of inviting a bunch of influencers to an event and get them to maybe post about it on their stories. Why don’t brands sponsor events for creators and their audiences? Kind of like the 2015-2016 meet and greets brands used to co-host. I feel like there are so many more ways brands can collaborate with influencers instead of just doing the regular paid product videos especially in the era of community. I would recommend reading The Ultimate Guide to Influencer marketing written by my friend Stephanie and Eric Buttow to know a lot more about the different typed of influencer collaborations. What do you think should brands find other ways to collaborate with influencers? #influencers #influencermarketing
