I was delighted to share my thoughts with PwC Middle East for their new study: "Navigating the path back: Women returners in MENA" on career breaks, returnship programs and new ways of working in the future. Unfortunately, we lose many female leaders in businesses especially in the middle of their career journey. 🌟68% of women take career breaks at grades beyond entry-level. 🌟83% of women agreed that returnship programmes are important in influencing their decision to rejoin the workforce. 🌟US$4.3bn of total GDP gains could be generated across the nine surveyed countries by activating flexible working arrangements.
