Positive Young Thinkers (PYT) is the youth advisory board for Positive Youth Foundation made up of young people who provide insights and guidance on issues affecting young people in Coventry and support the organisation across all strands. PYT gives young people a platform to voice their opinions and address community concerns they want to change. In this episode, Aqsa & Muj discuss growing up in Coventry. What did I take away from this episode: - How much they value PYF and the importance of youth services in communities - The importance of tailored/targeted sessions - And maybe I should stop giving young people history lessons about Hillfields! 🤣 It’s important to give young people spaces to talk so we as adults and professionals can LISTEN and act appropriately to support them.
