Designing a brand for Advancement Project's 25th Anniversary was no small task given the organization's deep history and heritage. They envisioned an afrofuturistic aesthetic with silver-y glitter textures. We delivered a sleek, silvery ‘25’ logomark inspired by futuristic design elements from the 80s and 90s. The tagline forms a circular frame around the 25, symbolizing a visual nod to the globe. ✨ See how we brought this vision to life!⬇️ https://bit.ly/4boSMNX #BrandDesign #LogoDesign #GraphicDesign

Design is about balance. At RWD, we consider every factor—lighting, color, textures, and how visitors move through a space. Each element contributes to the overall feel of an exhibit, shaping how people interact with and understand the content. Even the smallest details, like the materials used or the direction of natural light, can have a huge impact on visitor engagement and emotional connection. It’s about finding that perfect harmony where aesthetics meet function, so that the design enhances the story being told, rather than competing with it. In the end, great design doesn’t just look good—it feels right. 📷 "Gatheround: Stories of Atlanta" at the Atlanta History Center #design #balanceindesign #experiencedesign #visitorexperience #visitorexperiencedesign #exhibitdesign #exhibitiondesign #exhibitdesigners #exhibitiondesigners

🕰️ A Nostalgic Design Comeback: The 80s vs. The 90s 🕰️ In 2024, Traco Power proudly celebrates its 80th anniversary. On this momentous occasion, we will be sharing fun facts and important milestones from our company's rich history. If someone had told us in the 90s that the bold and vibrant design trends of the 80s would make a grand comeback 45 years later, while the 90s aesthetic would fade into obscurity, we might have been skeptical. Yet, here we are, witnessing this exact phenomenon. The 80s were characterized by daring colors, bold patterns, and a sense of optimism that was reflected in its design philosophy—attributes that have found new appreciation in today's design landscape. On the other hand, the 90s introduced a more subdued, minimalistic approach that, while innovative at the time, hasn't sparked the same level of revival. This journey through design eras teaches us a valuable lesson about the cyclical nature of trends and the lasting appeal of boldness and creativity. As we embrace the resurgence of 80s aesthetics, it's fascinating to see how these once-retro elements are being reinterpreted with a modern twist, proving that great design is truly timeless. #DesignTrends #80sRevival #CreativeIndustry #Nostalgia

Simplicity meets universality with this digital icon. Featuring a solid, bright orange circle for the head and a rich blue torso, this minimalistic design is clean and straightforward. Centrally arranged elements create a symmetrical front-facing image, universally recognized as a user profile placeholder. Designed for neutrality, functionality, and recognizability, this icon evokes a utilitarian mood without strong emotional cues. With flat colors and no lighting effects, it embodies a modern and abstract human figure with a simplistic body. This standard design focuses on clarity and is commonly used in digital platforms. No text or unique features; just a timeless representation of user profiles and avatars. #DigitalIcon #UserProfile #MinimalisticDesign #Modern #Abstract #Avatar #Design #DigitalPlatform #Simplicity #Universality #Neutrality #Functionality #Recognizability #SymmetricalDesign #FlatColors #Simple #Timeless #Clarity #IconicDesign
