This week at Starrlites Creative Agency, I learned a valuable lesson that I'd like to share with all of you. We were working on a campaign for a new client, and our team was struggling to come up with ideas that truly captured the brand's essence. That's when our marketing lead shared a powerful reminder: "People don't remember facts and figures, but they remember stories." This simple yet profound statement sparked a reaction of creativity within our team. We started thinking about the client's brand story, their values, and the emotional connection they wanted to make with their audience. The lesson: Storytelling is the ultimate superpower in creative work cause we delivered beyond delivering. (Check out the image attached) So, let's not forget to make use of the power of storytelling in our own work, whether we're marketers, creatives, or entrepreneurs. Great to be joined by Ryan Kelly in this AdNews Australia article on the ambition to stay small. Setting out from day one to NOT grow Brand+Story beyond two people has perhaps been harder than a goal to scale and become another big agency. And while our agency business model isn’t for every brand and marketing team, that’s also what makes us a good agency fit for brands who are looking to do things differently. Brands that are prepared to forego the “big agency experience” in exchange for direct access to the partners of the agency, greater accountability and a more collaborative working relationship across the entire creative process are choosing to work with small indie agencies and partnerships like ours.
