At team.blue, we wish our employees to feel happy, proud, and cared for. That's why, during Mental Health Awareness Month, we launched our Step-Up Challenge. In this challenge, our colleagues collectively moved 18,000 kilometres, while virtually visiting all team.blue offices across Europe. Each step taken not only supported our health but also contributed €1 per kilometre to MOVE Europe, a charity dedicated to empowering young people with disabilities to move independently. We're now excited to share the outcome: a donation of €18,000 to MOVE Europe! A huge thank you to all our team.blue colleagues who participated and made this possible. Together, we've made a meaningful impact! 💚 #teamblue #moveeurope #mentalhealth

May marks Mental Health Awareness Month, a crucial time to shine a light on the challenges faced by young people in our services. In our 2022-2023 Impact Report, 70% of our young people who identified as disabled cited mental health issues. Factors like insecure housing, low incomes and living independently for the first time pose significant barriers to accessing vital services and establishing healthy routines. 💙 Support the Big Give Kind2Mind campaign from 14 - 28 May. Thanks to #Kind2Mind, your kindness will go twice as far. Every donation you make will have DOUBLE the impact, directly funding our wellbeing coach service and providing vital mental health support to young people facing homelessness. So, when you donate £5, it becomes £10, £20 becomes £40, and so on! Donations open 12pm 14 May! #mentalhealthawarenessmonth #mentalhealthawarenessmonth💚 #mentalhealthawarenessmonth2024 #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthawarenesseveryday #mentalhealthawarenessweek #mentalhealthawareness❤️ #mentalhealthmatters #endthestigma #mindfulness #TakeAMentalHealthMoment #MentalHealthAwarenesssupport #Homelessness #Homelessnessawareness #Homelessnessprevention #EndYouthHomelessness #youthHomelessnessCharity #YouthHomelessness #EndingYouthHomelessness #HomelessnessUK #HomelessnessSupport #Bristol #BristolUK #MentalWellbeing #MentalWellbeingMatters #MentalWellbeingTips #MentalWellBeing2024 #MentalWellBeingSupport

Supporting our Wellbeing Campaign 💛 For a child or young person, facing a painful medical procedure, spending extended time in hospital, or navigating a long-term health diagnosis can take a toll - not just physically, but emotionally too. That's why supporting their mental health and wellbeing is such a vital part of healthcare. When children feel supported and brave enough to attend the appointments they’re scared of, fewer treatments are missed or delayed. This leads to less anxiety during those crucial waiting times, helping them and their families face their health journey with more confidence. Introducing one of our #AmbassadorsForAutism - Pitcher Partners! 'Our organisation has a Workplace Giving Program where our employees and partners can nominate charities to support for the year. Many of our team members have experience caring for family members with #autism, which has generated a lot of support for the guidance, awareness, and resources provided by Autism Awareness Australia to families in need. As a corporate ambassador for this charity, we can leverage this collective support to make a greater impact. Additionally, by promoting #autismawareness and advocacy, we can foster discussions in the workplace about #neurodiversity and the responsibilities of caregivers. As a corporate ambassador, it is important to create greater awareness about supporting neurodiversity in the workplace. It is also crucial to better understand the support that corporates can provide to their #neurodiverse employees, as well as caregivers of loved ones on the #autismspectrum. Fun facts about Pitcher Partners ... 1. Pitcher Partners is home to four of the top financial advisers in Australia. 2. One of these top advisers is our Managing Director of the Wealth Management practice, who is also a passionate race car driver.

As we celebrate World Mental Health Day 2024, we are proud to highlight Mind's incredible work and the impact they’ve made. With the help of PAYA Charity’s contactless donation devices, they’ve been able to continue their life-changing efforts. Here's what Mind had to say about our contactless donation solutions: “Now that fewer people carry cash, the devices have helped us collect donations we might have missed out on with traditional bucket collections. They also allow donors to give more than just their loose change!” 💙 Mind is leading the fight for mental health, standing up for the 1 in 4 of us who face mental health challenges. From changing perceptions across England and Wales to providing essential support services, Mind is dedicated to making mental health a priority in every aspect of life. They advocate for justice, offer support, and unite communities to create a powerful movement for change. They are ensuring that more people can access the support they need, when they need it. Every donation makes a difference in the fight for mental health. 💙 Mental Health Foundation | LibertyPay - PAYA Group | Toucan Giving | Good Thyngs #WorldMentalHealthDay2024 #MindCharity #PAYACharity #MentalHealthMatters #SupportForAll #FundraisingInnovation #ContactlessDonations #ChangingMinds #TogetherForChange #DigitalFundraising

Mental health is a vital aspect of our overall well-being, impacting how we think, feel, and interact with others. It's essential to prioritize self-care, seek support when needed, and foster open conversations about mental health challenges. Remember that it's okay to ask for help, whether through friends, family, or professionals, and that taking small steps toward managing stress and anxiety can lead to significant improvements. Let's create an environment where mental health is openly discussed and valued, reminding ourselves that we are not alone in this journey. At Cleveland Cable Company, we believe in giving back to the community and supporting causes that matter. This month, we’re proud to support the Headlight Project, an organisation dedicated to mental health support and suicide prevention. As we observe #InternationalCharityDay today and #WorldSuicidePreventionDay approaches, we encourage everyone to raise awareness and help break the stigma surrounding mental health. Together, we can create a brighter, safer future 💙 🔗 Learn more about how you can get involved and donate here: https://lnkd.in/ecStKvR3 #MentalHealth #MentalHealthAwareness #Charity #SocialImpact #ClevelandCable

It’s concerning to see how prolific mental health struggles are among young people. At Virgin Unite, we’ve supported the Crisis Text Line for a number of years now, and it’s been incredible to see how tirelessly they approach the issue. For a new report, the team partnered with Common Good Labs to analyse anonymised conversations that young people under 18 had with Crisis Text Line’s volunteer crisis counsellors via text message. The study identified the six most common resources teens say they need from their communities, which are discussed here: https://virg.in/3HX22fG #mentalhealth #wellbeing #charity #youngpeople

Did you know research says up to 80% of autistic people have executive function problems? 🧠 This can cause difficulties completing tasks, even ones that may seem simple to neurotypical people. In our latest blog, we dive into hoarding, one way executive disfunction can impact vulnerable adults. https://lnkd.in/edBeBMTd Blog written by Suzy Thomas, Zetetick volunteer. #Charity #HousingCharity #Autism #Autistic #LearningDisabled #Safeguarding #Hoarding #Health
