The superbowl of product marketing is coming up and I’m SO ready for it. For the last 6 months, I’ve been hard at work doing discovery with my fellow product marketers on the stickiest points they encounter when crafting a GTM strategy. And ya’ll really delivered. Some things I heard: - WTF even is GTM strategy (everyone pretends they know, but there’s no real clarity) - how do you know if your GTM strategy is working? - isn’t GTM strategy just what your motion is like PLg vs SLG? (Spoiler: it’s not) - what do I present to the company or CEO? - can we have multiple GTM strategies running at one time? - our competitors have the same feature set as us, won’t they just copy our GTM? - and more… I can’t wait to give you all the answers (plus a very helpful template) at this year’s Product Marketing Alliance Summit in SF. Last week we sponsored a Product Marketing Alliance Summit and it really exceeded my expectations.
