A New Chapter Begins! Building technology for good! Over the last 30 years, I've had the privilege of building countless pieces of technology—systems, websites, apps, you name it. I've seen how tech can drive success for companies and agencies worldwide and now I’m incredibly excited to channel all that knowledge, experience, and passion into something close to my heart: helping NGOs and charities to use that same technology to enhance their growth, well-being, and positive change in business and our communities. "Tech for Good" might not be a new concept, but it's something I'm deeply committed to expanding and exploring further. For those who don't know me well, I also have a background in coaching, humanistic and spiritual counselling, and am a licensed shamanic practitioner. This new role feels like a bridge between my two worlds—supporting people to overcome life’s challenges and grow in a healthy way, and helping organisations use technology to make a real difference and support healthy growth too. I’m honoured and humbled to take on this role, and while I don't know exactly what the future holds, I know it will involve many meaningful projects that help incredible people. If you’re as passionate about purpose-driven work as I am, let’s connect! Whether you’re someone who designs and builds technology or an organisation looking for tech solutions that have an impact and make a difference, I’d love to hear from you. Let's make a positive impact together! 🙏 Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in joining me on this journey. #techforgood #newbeginnings #purposedriven #socialimpact #community #innovation #technologywithheart #humancentereddesign

2nd gen Latina Founder & Chief Chaos Calmer|Peak Impact Strategy Consulting focus on Tech for Good|Climate Tech + Impact|Women in Tech Leader
New Tech Northwest last night. My fellow volunteer and I checked in 70+ attendees, greeting and instructing each one to make a name tag and include "One Fun Fact." My two funs facts (hard to choose just one) are Climate and Birds. If we spent more than 5 mins chatting I'd hazard a guess one of these interests (read: passions) came up. Last night was probably the best New Tech I've attended with the focus on Social Impact, which happens to be my consulting area of focus. Jennifer Lucero, Founder, MyBeacon - the social action network had the audience riveted with her emotional founders journey and impressive recent launch on the App and Google Play store (download pending). Mark Horoszowski, Co-Founder, Moving Worlds - which develops global leaders, builds more responsible companies and empowers social enterprises through their innovative volunteer matching projects with corporate employees. Great connecting with and chatting with Derek Megyesi, MBA, MSc, Darian Parrish, Mark Horoszowski,Ben Brandt, Konan Shimizu, and Blake McCracken and chatting about Climate and Clean Tech. The connections followed my sharing a community event shoutout for an upcoming World Affairs Council- Seattle event 𝟱/𝟮𝟯 -𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟱:𝟬𝟬 -𝟲:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭. Here's how we enabled $4M worth of IT solutions for impact in 2023. (By matching impactful nonprofits with IT firms). In 2023, Tech To The Rescue enabled 420 pro-bono tech projects across 69 countries. Our modus operandi is quite simple: ↳ we invite nonprofits to join our catalogue and submit projects requiring tech support ↳ we develop our Technology Partners network with companies seeking impact opportunities ↳ we verify each project and invite a suitable Tech Partner to collaborate #probono And then, there's a match! Each match is a beautiful #techforgood story. You can only imagine the smiles on our faces every time we hear about the positive results of each project we matched this way 😊 Got questions? Drop me a DM and I'll be happy to explain more. If you like what we do, please repost for more positive impact. PS. Our Goal for 2024? 700 matches. Stay tuned! #socialimpact
