flydubai will operate a daily flight to Sphinx international Airport in #egypt starting October 28... with times and prices. #flydubai announced the launch of its flights to #cairoegypt , starting daily #flights to #Sphinx International Airport in #cairo starting October 28, 2023, to meet the #increasing #demand for #travel between Cairo and #dubai.   A press release published on the Flydubai website explained that by launching the daily flight to Cairo, the company will serve the #Egyptian #market with a total of 17 flights per week, including its daily flights to Borg El Arab International Airport in #alexandria. Thus, the company expands its network in #africa to reach 12 destinations, with the addition of Cairo and #mombasa in #kenya to its growing network. Commenting on the launch of the flights, Hamad Obaidalla ,Chief Commercial Officer at Flydubai, said that the start of our services to Cairo as of October demonstrates Flydubai’s keenness to facilitate trade and tourism between countries and enable more people to travel easily. He stressed the support of the competent authorities in Egypt for the launch of our flights to Sphinx International Airport in Cairo, and we look forward to enhancing these services in this new destination in the coming years. #Jordan: Queen Alia Airport receives about 8 million passengers during the first 10 months of 2023 The Airport International Group (AIG) announced that Queen Alia International #Airport in Jordan received 7,994,674 passengers during the first 10 months of this year, an increase of 21.9% compared to #statistics for the same period in 2022. During this period, the airport recorded 66,717 #flights, an increase of 16.3%. Regarding #airfreight, the airport handled 54,953 tons, an increase of 7.2% compared to 2022, according to the Jordanian News Agency, Petra. The International Airport Group reported that Queen Alia Airport witnessed an increase in passenger traffic during the month of October, as it received 738,892 passengers, recording an increase of 2.3%, compared to 2022.
