Congratulations to all who were involved with the West Natick Fire Station #4 project!
Exciting news! Last night, AIA Eastern NY held an award ceremony in which they presented multiple awards. The West Natick Fire Station #4 in Natick, Massachusetts won the Honor Award in recognition of its outstanding architecture and commitment to serving its community. Last night, the design team was also surprised with the competition’s “Best of the Best” award. The 25,000-square-foot station promotes public health and well-being, firefighter safety, and environmental friendliness. Tecton Architects was the Architect of Record with H2M providing the firematic design. David J. Pacheco, AIA received the chapter’s first Educator Award for his time and effort spent training undergraduate and graduate architecture students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an adjunct professor. His classes focus on how to operate a successful architectural practice, career paths, project management, and other critical skills for a young professional. Congratulations to David and the West Natick design team! West Natick Team Members: Jeff McElravy Rebecca Hopkins, AIA, NCARB, EDAC David J. Pacheco, AIA Dennis A.
