From PVC to Polypropylene: continuing to Innovating Sustainability in Manufacturing. We initiated a corporate effort to phase out PVC material from our manufacturing processes, particularly challenging due to its prevalence in edge banding. By the year 201x, we successfully transitioned our facilities to using polypropylene edge banding, which is durable, effective, and more environmentally friendly. Subsequently, we furthered our sustainability efforts by exploring ways to repurpose scrap polypropylene, leading us to establish a partnership with a nearby recycling center, located less than 100 km away from our facilities, demonstrating our commitment to environmental responsibility. #teknionbettertodaythanyesterday #sustainablemanufacturing #pvc
