Since joining APM Terminals, I've looked into our sales processes, and here's my initial takeaway: linking the sales process to the customer's journey is paramount! In today's competitive landscape, all internal processes and systems must be seamlessly adjusted to align with the customer journey. Why? Because it allows our sales managers and executives to focus more on understanding where customers are on their paths and less on the traditional sales cycle. What have I learned? Putting our customers first is non-negotiable. At the end of the day, our sales executives need to thrive in their interactions with prospects and customers alike. We aim for our customers to fully grasp what we offer and the value we bring, tailored precisely to their unique context. By harmonizing our processes with the customer journey, we enhance our ability to serve and deliver value effectively.
