#MeetTheTeamTuesday: Meet Cade! Cade Taylor is a Senior Writer for Tell-Tale TV and has been with the site since 2016. His recent coverage includes reviews of Snowpiercer, Hotel Cocaine, Fire Country, and American Horror Story. For Meet the Team Tuesday, Cade is answering a few questions about his work for Tell-Tale TV and his love of television: Name a TV cancellation that broke your heart. One cancellation I will never get over is "The Secret Circle" back in 2012. Being a sci-fi and supernatural lover at heart, the show hit all the marks for me and had teen me ready to tune in each week. It also had an absolutely stellar cast! Britt Robertson, Shelley Hennig, Phoebe Tonkin, Gale Harold, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Thomas Dekker, and Chris Zylka? Legendary. I am dying for someone to reboot the series and have cameos from the original cast. It's been long enough! Another that I have to mention is Sweet/Vicious, which was canceled after one season in 2017. MTV had a few hidden gems, like "Teen Wolf" and "Scream," and "Sweet/Vicious" is one that deserved so much better. There are many different series that tackle the topic of sexual assault and do it well. However, I don't think there's been a series that has been able to appropriately incorporate the subject into a form of comedy while not shying away from graphic, sensitive subjects since "Sweet/Vicious." A series revolving around sexual assault victims getting the revenge they're rightfully owed and rapists getting the living daylights beat out of them is one that I will always root for. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson created something magical with "Sweet/Vicious." I'm beyond grateful it was my first introduction to her as a creator, and I cannot wait to see her at the helm of the upcoming "I Know What You Did Last Summer" reboot. Name a TV series you've seen every episode of more than once. Oh man, that list is long. The top four series that I've watched the most repeatedly are Friends, One Tree Hill, Bob's Burgers, and Teen Wolf. What's your go-to comfort TV show? It's a tie between "Grace and Frankie" and "Schitt's Creek." They're my current go-to's on those days when I need to relax and not focus on anything new. Both bring a smile to my face and can brighten my day easily. How do you like to spend your free time when you aren't writing about TV? When I'm not writing about TV, my full-time job as a news producer typically takes up most of my time. However, when I have free moments, I love to go hiking with friends, go to concerts, read a good book, walk with my dog, and lounge around with good music. Where else can we find you? I'm not as active online as I should be, but you can find me at @cadetaylortv on Instagram, where I tend to share stories of my dog and my concert adventures, and on X at the same name, where it tends to be a mixture of screaming about Megan Thee Stallion and sharing film/TV entertainment things.
