Terramin’s CEO Martin Janes, recently sat down with Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson over a zoom interview discussing the flagship Tala Hamza Zinc Project. With zinc supply projected to be in deficit, Terramin’s Tala Hamza Zinc Project is in a unique position to fill the industry’s supply gaps. The Tala Hamza contains 53 million tonnes of high-grade zinc and lead ore. In the interview, Martin provides a breakdown on Tala Hamza’s unique strengths and why he thinks Terramin is 5 to 10 years ahead of its peers: · 20-year mine life at a low-cost operating base · Achievement of necessary mining permits and environmental approvals with strong government support · Amazing infrastructure in the vicinity – International airport, Deepwater port and proximity to European zinc smelters Terramin is now in the midst of negotiating construction contracts and finalising the financing of this world-class project. Terramin Australia Limited (ASX:TZN) CEO Martin Janes joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to talk through the company’s flagship Tala Hamza Zinc Project in Algeria, which is owned by Western Mediterranean Zinc Spa (WMZ), a joint venture vehicle between Terramin and Enterprise Nationale des Produits Miniers Non-Ferreux et des Substances Utiles Spa (ENOF). The project is on the Mediterranean Sea, 15 kilometres from the regional city of Béjaia, near an international airport and deepwater port, with excellent infrastructure including grid power, abundant water and proximity to European zinc smelters. The Tala Hamza deposit holds a measured, indicated and inferred resource of 53 million tonnes at 5.3% zinc and 1.3% lead at a cut-off grade of 2.5% zinc equivalent. Golden Deeps Ltd (ASX:GED) releases new Silver-Copper Mineral Resource model that highlights extension potential for high-grade Khusib Springs deposit in Namibia ⛏️ The Khusib Springs deposit is analogous to the world-class Tsumeb Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag deposit ⚒️ The Company’s previous drilling produced thick intersections of silver and copper, with zinc and antimony, associated with veins and blebs of the silver-copper bearing sulphide mineral, Tennantite. Golden Deeps CEO Jon Dugdale commented: “The increasing silver price has triggered a review and new Mineral Resource modelling and targeting, based on the new mineralisation discovered below the very high-grade Khusib Springs deposit, which previously produced 300,000 tonnes at 584g/t silver and 10% copper. Chilwa Minerals has received the initial rare earth element assay results from the ongoing sonic drill program at the Mposa deposit, part of the Chilwa Project in southeast Malawi. The sonic drill program is predominantly planned for the assessment of the heavy #mineralsands potential of the project. During early tests to determine the depth to basement, up to 40m of clays were identified below the mineral sands horizon. Subsequent follow up analysis is currently underway to assess the presence of the #REEs that were not analysed for, as well as to understand the mineralogy and distribution of the REEs in the Mposa HMS deposit. Great Boulder Resources Ltd (ASX:GBR) managing director Andrew Paterson joins Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss the promising developments at the Pollele Gold Project. The surface geochemistry review has uncovered several large, high-tenor pathfinder anomalies, suggesting potential #gold mineralisation. This finding at Pollele, located near Meekatharra in Western Australia, shows similarities to the company's Mulga Bill and Side Well projects. Great Boulder, in a joint venture with Castle Minerals, is optimistic about these initial results, with the potential to exercise a 75% acquisition option if the findings align with their strategic objectives. The limited drilling at Pollele to date points to significant untapped potential, with many targets yet to be explored. Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX:AAJ) managing director Glenn Grayson sits down with Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss high-grade #copper assays from the Fiery Creek Copper Project in the Mt Isa copper belt, northwest Queensland. Surface rock chip sampling by previous explorers, including Sumitomo and Anglo American, revealed significant copper grades with highlights such as 36% copper (Sumitomo), 25.4%, 15.2% and 11.2% copper (Anglo American). The Fiery Creek Project encompasses prospects like Fiery Creek, Twilight, Hellfire and Piper and is underexplored but in a geologically favourable area analogous to known copper deposit regions within the Mount Isa Inlier. The project has seen limited historical drilling with anomalous copper results and extensive hematite alteration indicative of a fertile copper system. The sonic drill program at Chilwa Minerals Mposa deposit, in Malawi, was predominantly planned for the assessment of the heavy #mineralsands potential of the project. Although, anomalous rare earths results have returned from preliminary composite sampling of the heavy mineral concentrates. Noteworthy #REE results in the first batch include: • 9.55m @ 7,902ppm REO (30% REO) from surface* (MPO-SD-785), incl. 3.55m @ 15,590ppm REO from 6m* • 9m @ 7,358ppm REO (29% REO) from surface* (MPO-SD-730), incl. 4.3m @ 9,750ppm REO from 4.7m* Subsequent follow up analysis is currently underway to assess the presence of the REEs that were not analysed for, as well as to understand the mineralogy and distribution of the REEs in the Mposa HMS deposit. Tolu Minerals Ltd (ASX:TOK) managing director and CEO Iain Macpherson joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the results from a recently completed Phase 1 Airborne Mobile Magneto Telluric (MT) survey over the Tolukuma area in Papua New Guinea. The survey identified significant copper-gold porphyry and epithermal #gold targets with the results supporting the company's exploration and development strategy, potentially accelerating the expansion of the Tolukuma mine. Preliminary findings indicate a conductivity anomaly extending over two kilometres beyond Tolukuma’s southern boundary. Additionally, advanced targets such as Belavista, Idave and Karame have been identified, with historical samples from Belavista showing high concentrations of #gold, #silver, #copper and #zinc. The porphyry system beneath Tolukuma, referred to as the ‘Tolukuma Porphyry,’ is believed to drive the region's gold mineralisation.
