In my latest video on The Scribbled Equation, we dive into how you can estimate the blast energy of the Trinity Nuclear Test using nothing more than Dimensional Analysis and a few early-stage photos of the blast wave. We also explore the fascinating historical backdrop of this calculation, originally done by British physicist G.I. Taylor during the WW-II years. Watch here: https://lnkd.in/gxe7xhXS Hope you enjoy the video! If you have any ideas or requests for future topics, calculations, or interesting problems, I'd love to hear them!
