You might add that complex generics yield much higher profits than simpler generics. It's been getting increasingly more difficult to make a profits on simple Gx due to rising costs in manufacturing and pharmaceutical ingredients. Bottom line: making money on simple Gx is very difficult. For a company like Teva complex is the way to go.
