Texas led clean energy installations with 9.2 GW installed in 2022, followed by California (4.7 GW), Oklahoma (1.5 GW), Florida (1.2 GW), and Nevada (0.9 GW). Texas is the state with the most clean energy in development, about 18% of the total development pipeline, followed by California (9%), New York (8%), Indiana (5%), and Virginia (5%). The duck curve has migrated to Texas. Power demand soared from 66 GW in 2018 to as high as 85.5 GW in 2023. Meanwhile, renewable generation supersized as a proportion of all power, from 10% in 2013 to 36% in 2023.   WattBridge answers renewable intermittency and the Texas duck curve with a deep investment in ERCOT dispatchable generation, which totals 2.4 GW operating or under construction this year. In fact, WattBridge—now the world’s largest LM6000 fleet owner—has delivered at least 30% of the total output for all simple-cycle aeros in the State. 'Atlantic Green has announced the mechanical completion of its first project, the Buxton battery energy storage system in England.' The Buxton BESS Project boasts an approximate 60 MWh capacity, ensuring sustained power output for up to two hours during peak energy demand periods. It remains firmly on track for energisation in Q1 2024. Buxton BESS is the first of a series of projects encompassing over 1GWh currently in Atlantic Green’s  development pipeline.
