If so, what plans do you have to support your team and staff during Mental Health Awareness Week? 🧠 The theme this year is “Movement: moving for our mental health.” https://lnkd.in/g9scNhPV Some ideas to support movement in the workplace for Mental Health Awareness Week: 🚶♂️ Create a lunchtime walking club for the week - doesn't need to be far but a gentle 5km gives staff the chance to move and chat 📧 Introduce morning and afternoon 'Reminder to move' emails - sending to al staff at mid-morning and mid-afternoon encouraging a 5 minute movement break 🚆 Leave the car at home week! Can staff cycle or commute to help add movement into their day while having a positive affect on their carbon footprint - this one could perhaps be incentivised! 🧘♀️ If company budgets allow, invite fitness instructors/practitioners into the work space to offer 'introduction' classes to your staff, allowing employees to try something new during their working day without any financial burden. I think this year's brilliant campaign shouldn't go unnoticed so please do share if and how you're getting involved to inspire other companies!
