HR people, is this true!? 👀💥 😅 😅 😅 While it may not be the main point of discussion here, I can think of at least a few ways a well-aligned recognition tool could help with calibration amongst teams. 1️⃣ Reinforcing company values: Recognition tools can be a subtle, but effective way to encourage the behaviours you want managers to instil within their teams. The more aligned recognition is with your company values, the easier it is for managers to assess what really matters and drive organisational effectiveness. 2️⃣ Visibility for remote teams: When people are scattered, calibration can miss the mark. With Huggg, recognition can help by shining a light on some of the great work performed by dispersed teams that might otherwise go unnoticed. This may also provide greater context for calibration meetings. 3️⃣ Balanced recognition: Some managers might naturally give more recognition, while others don't. Having oversight into which teams are giving (and getting) recognition can highlight where calibration might need some extra attention, encouraging fair and consistent performance evaluation across the business.
