The AA are proud to announce the launch of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower across the business, reinforcing our commitment to creating an inclusive environment for everybody. The Sunflower is a symbol for people living with non-visible disabilities to indicate they might need additional support, understanding or time. With specialist training implemented across the business, the Sunflower will enable our colleagues to better support our customers and each other, helping us achieve our goal of creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong. I am extremely pleased the AA is supporting good causes, would be nice if we could have got access to to some sunflower products for free for staff and their family as part of the wellbeing and family benefits.🌻
This is excellent, well done to everyone involved. This will make a huge difference

1moOn every level I support this news, especially as I am married to someone who would not be able to cope day to day without the sunflower scheme. What I am particularly keen to hear though is what The AA is doing to implement the awareness and support throughout the business? As a Driving School franchisee, this news is not common knowledge, and communication on this has not been sent out. I will be watching how this rolls out, and looking forward to seeing how The AA educates everyone. It's easy to say you are giving specialist training across the business, but what does that entail, and how far across the business?
