On the one hand we know that AI will affect the prosecution of war—likely on both sides. The tech journals are full of predictions. On the other, the US Army just announced a change in doctrine to move from battalion-sized forces to division-sized engagements (a division contains 3-4 battalions. ) This is a rewind to WWII-type tactics. Together: one can shrug the shoulders as to how AI gets fused into modern warfare. https://lnkd.in/gaBqm3dy Association of the United States Army - AUSA #AI #PrinciplesofFutureWarfare
