Meet Elizabeth, our Board President at the Endo Forward Foundation! 💛 In this video, she shares her excitement about where some of the funds raised during NTX Giving Day will go—and it’s all about pushing forward education and awareness for endometriosis. For Elizabeth, this mission is personal. After spending 14 years searching for answers and being told by over 40 doctors that everything she was going through was “normal,” she finally learned the truth—it wasn’t normal, and she had endometriosis. That’s why she knows firsthand how critical it is to spread education and awareness about this disease. With the funds from NTX Giving Day, we’ll be creating educational resources, raising community awareness, and pushing for better care so that no one has to go through what Elizabeth and so many others have endured. As I've mentioned previously John Harrity and I are challenging each other again this year to inspire blood donations all year long, the team that donates the least amount of blood each month will donate $50 to the winner's chosen cause. Myself and our Digital Operations Leadership Team at ICON, titled "Digital Daredevils" are joining the Debra Ireland’s charity 'Take a leap for Debra' by abseiling Croke Park on 28th March and braving the almost 150ft drop from the roof of Croke Park to raise much needed funds to support the Rare Disease charity Debra Ireland. If you had skin that took four hours every day to bandage to keep you alive. Or skin that would not allow you to walk without your feet splitting and burning. This is the skin of someone living with EB, a genetic disorder that affects the body’s largest organ; the skin. People living with EB are missing the essential proteins that bind the skin’s layers together, so any minor friction, movement or trauma causes it to break and blister. It’s debilitating.
