The Environment Ministers of Australia have committed to creating a circular economy in Australia by 2030. It must be a national circular economy given we are in fact one national market. This will be vital to ensuring both sustainable resource management as well as Australia meeting its national carbon mitigation targets. However, with so much of the policy in this area being state led, how will the state policies contribute to creating this national outcome?
