The incredible step is knowing what’s important
During January the team from Nissan Motor Corporation Sunderland plant completed RED January with some absolutely incredible achievements helping to boost our colleagues mental and physical wellbeing. As a team we walked, ran, swam and biked over 23,000KM's (More than the distance from Sunderland to New Zealand) and took more than 27 million steps. A truly incREDible achievement!!! In addition the team have also raised more than £1400 for the charity Sport in Mind. You can still support and donate to the teams effort using the link - https://lnkd.in/eyeKXFNX Some of the RED faces are captured below... Well done Team Nissan Sunderland! #redjanuary #nissan #nissanproud #healthandwellbeing

Sadly the services Ben provide for our colleagues in the automotive industry is in increasing demand. For us this partnership speaks to the fundamental principles of our organisation and mfldirect, working hand in hand with motor traders and the broader automotive industry to support each other in challenging times. #Ben #mfldirect #motabilityoperations
Today, we're delighted to share news about our partnership with mfldirect, one of the UK’s largest wholesale vehicle suppliers and a division of Motability Operations. Demand for our services has been growing year-on-year and we rely on support from our partners to ensure we can continue to provide life-changing, and often life-saving, support for automotive people. It's estimated that this partnership, which is providing a percentage of every used vehicle sale, will generate a donation of around £108,000 for Ben. That's incredible! We can't thank mfldirect enough for their generous support during a time when automotive people need us more than ever. 💛 #automotive #automotiveindustry #support #partnership #charity

Before I put the lamp and genie away, this would be the third* of my three wishes for the charity sector in 2024: 🧞♂️ Introduce an initial zero rate of corporation tax for trading subsidiary companies that are wholly owned by charities 🧞♂️ There was a zero rate which applied on the first £10,000 of taxable profits, which was scrapped in the 2005 Budget (and it did not only apply to trading subsidiary companies of charities). Introducing a zero rate for wholly owned trading subsidiaries of charities would encourage charitable groups to innovate, explore ways of generating other sources of income and would also allow charities to provide their subsidiaries with adequate working capital. I think a zero rate of corporation tax for wholly owned trading subsidiaries of charities would be great for the sector and be of little cost to the Exchequer. I’ll start the bidding - how about a zero rate of corporation tax to apply to, say, the first £25,000 of taxable profits? *See my two posts last week for my first and second wishes. #charities #charitiesatRSM #3Wishes #hopesfor2024

Experienced Cybersecurity, Risk, and Privacy Leader | Building Better Programs, Consultants, and Outcomes
Please help me out by hitting Like and, if you think the cause worthy, repost to your networks. All donations, large or small, are hugely appreciated and roundly celebrated. It's fair to say that the RNA Family is filled with automotive enthusiasts. We love cars, we love driving, and a lot of us have spent time on race tracks - some semi-professionally. Scott Spielman, MBA, MPM and Tony Intrieri, the dream team who created Rally North America, know that we all love a chance to play on tracks we might not otherwise get the chance to visit. So it was in 2023 when we ran hot - OK, warm - laps around Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway. Running in multiple heats, we got to experience what NASCAR racers see of the track. I did it in a rented Audi, though, so it was at a much, much lower speed. My goal for this week is to raise $250 through our donation page, which is linked below. All proceeds go directly to Camp Sunshine and you will receive a receipt for tax purposes. 🏕 ☀ This post is related to Rally North America's 2024 Sunshine Rally. As we do nearly every year, my wife and I are participating under the team name Slightly Lost. Our goal is to raise as much money for the chosen #charity as we possibly can; please help us make a difference for the kids at Camp Sunshine by contributing at our Team Page. Link in the Comments. For more information, or if you represent a business that would like to get exposure during the event, DM me. #fundraising #foragoodcause #rallynorthamerica #campsunshine #slightlylost661

WOW, what an achievement Phil Holdcroft! As Phil acknowledges, it’s human instinct to avoid conflict yet reframing it as a performance tool can have significant benefits. Thanks for the insightful article Phil, definitely some key takeaways to ponder. Integrity Conflict Solutions
36 days, an 8-meter rowing boat and 3,000 miles across the Atlantic. Now that's a gruelling challenge! One which was undertaken by Phil Holdcroft, Integrity associate and previous combat helicopter pilot to raise funds for charity. What did he learn along the way? Being stuck in close proximity with a team of people means that conflict needs to be faced head-on and should be reframed as a performance tool, rather than shunned. You can read about his fascinating adventure and key takeaways here ➡ https://lnkd.in/edg5kjMP #CharityChallenge #Rowing #ConflictResolution #Teamwork
