Big news! We're excited to share that we've been named to PEOPLE's 100 Companies that Care list! This award means a lot to us because it’s about how we care for our people and our communities. We are so honored to be recognized for a fourth consecutive year. #LifeatCheesecake #GPTW
over staffing you restaurants and giving servers 1-3 shifts a week, that doesn’t sound like caring. everything’s so fake nowadays.
That's fantastic! What specific initiatives are you most proud of that led to this recognition?
The Valley Intercommunity Council has been serving the San Fernando Valley community for 60 years. As the Vice President of Community Engagement and Development/Fundraising, I am proud to share our impactful work. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we delivered meals to over 1.7 million seniors during the first 13 months of Covid. We continue to provide essential services, serving over 300,000 meals and offering 40,000 rides to seniors annually. Launching Project Golden: Because we treasure our aging adults, we aim to address food insecurity and social isolation which are at epidemic levels among seniors. Your donations are crucial to supporting our mission and making a real difference in the lives of those in need. In a time where funding sources are decreasing, your contributions can uplift and enrich the lives of many more individuals and families. Reach out to support our cause and make a positive impact. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. For donations or more information, feel free to contact me via text or email. Together, we can make a difference. 3104002056 Sgincig@vic-la.org Warmly, Steve #CommunityEngagement #Fundraising #Nonprofit #SeniorSupport #ProjectGolden
