What is NTNB Scan or Level 1 scan ? Pregnancy is an exciting journey, and we’re here to ensure you and your baby are as healthy as possible! 🤰✨ 🌸 NT Scan (Nuchal Translucency): This ultrasound, done between 11weeks to 13 weeks 6 days , measures the fluid at the back of your baby’s neck. It helps us assess the chances of certain conditions like Down syndrome. 🌸 NB Scan (Nasal Bone): We also check if your baby’s nasal bone is visible, another key marker for their development. Why is this important? 💕 These early checks give us important insights into your baby’s health and development, so we can take the best care of both of you! This is combined with a blood test where two markers are evaluated ( dual test ) which along with the NTNB scan is called as first trimester combined screening ( FTCS ) Ask your doctor about NT & NB scans during your next visit.
