Exciting News! We’re launching a new fundraising campaign, and we’d love for you to be part of it: Help us plant 10 million wildflowers by June 30th. We’re seeing an incredibly high amount of interest from landowners interested in planting #pollinator habitat, and we need your help to make it a success. By helping us plant 10 million #wildflowers across the landscape, you are making a real difference for these #pollinators. Your donation will: 🌱Plant 1 million square feet of high-quality NextGen pollinator habitat projects through our Seed A Legacy and Solar Synergy programs. 🐝 Provide essential nutrition to support #honeybees, which are vital for our food production. 60 honey bee hives will be supported, which will produce over 4,200 lbs. of US honey. 🦋 Provide #monarchbutterfly-specific needs to prevent them from becoming endangered, including 100,000 milkweed seeds being planted within the pollinator habitat. 🌻 Provide ideal habitat for pollinators, native bees, pheasants, quail and grassland songbirds, improve soil, air and water quality, AND enhance #biodiversity while beautifying the landscape. Help us plant 10 million wildflowers by donating today: https://bit.ly/47qkwPU

A world of fundraising experience (30+ years in 100+ countries) to guide your fundraising journey. Strategy, Innovation, Mentoring, and Training.
USD800,000. Raised by and for a community-owned sustainable forestry nonprofit in #PapuaNewGuinea. From one progressive European trust. The (relatively) smooth and stress-less process of a TWO-PAGE proposal. A first donation that's NOT from an institutional funder. But that wouldn't have been possible without having walked through the institutional funding fire (for two decades). And a two-year journey to grow beyond the habits and limited expectations that institutional funding shapes. #highvaluepartnerships

Though I rarely post on Linkedin, I am here regularly, absorbing the insights of those I admire. I post now because The Ag Community in Vermont needs more from the companies, individuals, and associations who work here or have visited, benefitted, or simply appreciate Vermont values. We need folks to come to the aid of damaged Vermont’s farms. The catastrophic storms of 2023 and 'wrong' weather throughout the winter into spring this year caused and continues to cause more than $45 million in losses to Vermont family farms. The devastation done to these farms is largely invisible - crops lost, infrastructure damaged or destroyed, and seasons of set-backs. With ongoing, all-volunteer help from partners and supporters listed below, we're hoping to raise as much cash as we can to help offset the profound losses Vermont farmers have experienced. Learn more, share this post, AND make a donation to the farmers in the county you care about most at www.digdeepvt.com. Thank you, Vermont Community Fund, NOFA, and The State of Vermont for assistance provided to date. But it is simply not enough to ensure feed, crops to sell, infrastructure repair, and a viable future. Please. And thank you for those who are championing DIGDEEPVT now: @Ski Vermont/Vermont Ski Areas Association @Association of Vermont Credit Unions @Farm Credit East, ACA @Farrell Distributing @Driven Studio | Certified B Corporation® Studio | Certified B Corporation® @Image Relay | Certified B Corporation® @Unified Strategies Public Relations Network @Givio

🌱🐔 Empowering Future Generations through Family Farming! 🌟👨👩👧👦 I couldn't be prouder to share the incredible journey of my family's involvement in Hydro Coops farming! Each of my amazing kids tends to 3 Hydro Coops, while Lize Marie leads the charge with an impressive 6 Coops. Together, they're making a profound impact on both our local community and the agricultural landscape. 🌾🚜 🐣🌿 In just six weeks, our family farm produces a staggering 2250 broiler chickens, securing a profit exceeding R140,000. But our mission goes beyond profits; it's about giving back. Every month, we're honored to donate over 6000 eggs and more than 5000 fresh vegetables to support local communities in need. 🥚🥕 Through Hydro Coops, we've not only found a sustainable source of income but also a platform for meaningful contribution. Our children are learning invaluable lessons in entrepreneurship, responsibility, and the joy of giving back. Together, we're proving that even the smallest efforts can make a big difference. 🌟💚 Join us in celebrating the power of family farming and the positive impact it can have on both livelihoods and communities. Are you a grassroots nonprofit leader or founder looking to make a larger impact? Take inspiration from the Mississippi Forestry Association. Their successful advocacy and awareness strategies are anchored in education - teaching landowners, legislators, and the public about forestry's essential role in Mississippi's economy. As leaders in nonprofits, we too carry a similar responsibility to articulate the significance of our missions to our communities. Collaboration is crucial too. By fostering partnerships, we amplify our ability to bring change! Remember, the best stories aren't just told, they are shared. And the best connections are born from a shared passion and understanding. Let's reach out, educate, collaborate and weave our stories into the fabric of our communities! #GiveHopeDaily #NonprofitCollaboration #EducateToElevate #NonprofitMarketingSolutions

How do we spend the donations that we receive?” Of course, when you are donating to a cause, you must know exactly where your money is going. We are proud to say that 95% of the budget goes directly towards trainings and irrigation technology. This involves equipping farmers with sustainable agricultural training, hand-crank irrigation pumps, and windmills for large-scale irrigation. Only 5% of the budget is used for audits, fees, and raising awareness. We are committed to total transparency – because we are committed to building communities rooted in genuine support. BIG NEWS: For the past decade, Drought Angels has been a lifeline for Aussie farmers, offering unwavering support through some of the toughest times. When our small charity took its first steps ten years ago, the grip of drought held our nation tight. Across Australia, farmers fought tirelessly against an unrelenting dry spell; but as history has shown us, every drought eventually yields. However, this often makes way for floods which are equally devastating. As we reflect on our journey and look ahead, we recognise that we have weathered many storms and our mission has grown beyond just aiding through drought conditions. We’ve expanded our services to meet the evolving needs of the farming community, ensuring we’re there to support not just through drought, but through any hardship they face. Today, we are proud to announce that we will be changing our name to Farm Angels. This rebrand to Farm Angels better represents the extensive range of support we provide and signifies our commitment to standing with our farmers, no matter the challenge. We believe the new name will help convey the full scope of our support and reinforce our dedication to those who sustain our nation. The conditions are tough, and so are our farmers, but just because they can handle a lot, doesn’t mean they should have to. While there’s never an easy day on the land, Farm Angels helps to make the really tough days a little easier. As we near the end of the financial year, remember to support our farmers through a tax-deductible donation via our website to help Farm Angels continue our important work that is needed always. www.farmangels.org.au #farmangels #droughtangels #rebrand #aussiefarmers #eofy #charity
