The report explores the leadership style, constraints, enablers, and motivations of the archetypal Hawthorn Club woman – i.e. a senior/executive woman in the energy sector. The report draws upon survey data, interviews, and Spencer Stuart's Individual Style Profile to reveal that Hawthorn Club women are chiefly motivated by achievement and an ability to reach challenging targets. They also care deeply about building positive relationships with their teams. This can feel like constructive tension at times.
