TALKING NUMBERS ABOUT VIETNAM LOGISTICS —----------------- 1, Red Ocean Market called Viet nam Logistics Vietnam currently has more than 30,000 enterprises registered to operate in the logistics sector, accounting for 89% of domestic enterprises, 10% of joint venture enterprises and 1% of 100% foreign-owned enterprises providing cross-border logistics services,... However, Vietnamese enterprises only account for 30% of the market share, the remaining “cake” of the domestic logistics market is reserved for foreign enterprises. 2, Great potential but still a playground for foreign giants By the end of 2023, the supply scale of Vietnam's modern logistics industry will reach nearly 3.9 million square meters of floor space. However, foreign investors are the "players" dominating the modern warehouse market in Vietnam, accounting for over 75% of the market share of warehouse and factory floor space for rent in 2023. 3, Difficult bottlenecks for Vietnam's road transport According to statistics, road transport accounts for 85% of the total volume of goods, becoming an important channel, contributing to the development of the national economy. However, traffic congestion on major routes during rush hour prolongs the time of transporting goods, consumes fuel, increases logistics costs and is a "bottleneck" hindering the development of the industry. 4, Strongly reaching out to the world According to statistics from the United Nations Organization for Trade Development, in 2023, the fleet of ships flying the Vietnamese flag will rank 3rd in ASEAN and 22nd in the world. Accordingly, the World Bank announced the Container Performance Index (CPPI), in which Cai Mep International Container Port ranked 12th out of 348 container ports in the world. 5, Recovering strongly after the "storm" of COVID 19 Recent reports show that more than 80% of import and export goods via air in Vietnam are carried out by foreign airlines. Mainly, these goods are served by international Cargo airlines such as UPS, FedEx, DHL,... Domestic enterprises are still quite "out of breath" in this playground. —--------------------- 𝑽𝑰𝑬𝑻𝑵𝑨𝑴 𝑷𝑶𝑺𝑻 𝑳𝑶𝑮𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑪𝑺 📞: +(84) 24 3685 5333 🏢: Số 5 Phạm Hùng, Mỹ Đình 2, Hà Nội, Việt Nam 📧: ga.logistics@vnpost.vn #VNPost #VietnamPostLogistics #logistics #VNPostLogistics

⛴🚂THE IMPORTANT ROLE OF LOGISTICS IN VIETNAM'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT🚂⛴ #logistics is an indispensable part of the process of distributing goods from the place of production to consumers, acting as a bridge for global trade. Today, logistics activities do not stop at warehousing and transportation but also include complex tasks such as planning, arranging the flow of raw materials from suppliers to manufacturers, then transferring goods from production to final consumers. This process requires optimization to reduce transportation and storage costs. 💥 #logistics service is also a commercial activity, in which traders perform many tasks such as receiving goods, transporting, storing, customs clearance, customer consulting, packaging, and many other related services for remuneration. Good logistics implementation not only ensures better service and lower costs but also brings high efficiency to businesses and the economy. 🔥🔥Current Situation and Challenges of Vietnam's Logistics Industry With a market size of 20-22 billion USD/year, accounting for 20.9% of GDP, the logistics service industry is playing an important role in the integration and economic development process in Vietnam. Currently, the country has about 1,200 enterprises providing logistics services, mainly concentrated in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi with more than 1.5 million employees. However, except for state-owned enterprises that are being equitized, most of these enterprises are small and medium-sized, with an average charter capital of 4-6 billion VND, and human resources only meeting about 40% of the industry's needs. The rate of human resources trained in logistics is very low, only 5-7%. 🌟🌟Opportunities and Solutions for Logistics Industry Development Despite facing many challenges such as poor infrastructure, high logistics costs, and a shortage of quality human resources, Vietnam's logistics industry still has great opportunities. International integration and opening of the logistics market according to the WTO commitment roadmap from January 11, 2014 have opened up many development opportunities. Vietnamese logistics enterprises need to take advantage of local advantages, strengthen cooperation and linkages, invest in technology and human resource training to improve competitiveness. >Send goods to China by post: https://lnkd.in/gGgwt2dM >Cheap express delivery to China: https://lnkd.in/gD_xf7xs >Process of transporting goods from China to Vietnam: https://lnkd.in/g3mx4XUv >Safe and economical express delivery to China: https://lnkd.in/dDHv6NGy CONTACT INFORMATION: ☎ Hotline: 0842001900 – 0908.315.806 📍 Office: 51B Hong Ha, Ward 2, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City 📫 Email: booking@vietaircargo.asia 🌐 Website: www.vietaircargo.asia

Viettel Post's expansion of logistics investment in China will help the trade of goods between Vietnam and China; as well as the ASEAN region to develop strongly, reducing many unnecessary logistics costs; creating an important premise to promote the economic development of Vietnam as well as ASEAN countries. Overview of Viettel Post's expansion of logistics investment in China March 2024: Viettel Post signed an agreement with Pingxiang City, Guangxi Province, China; to cooperate in establishing a representative office, and building a China-ASEAN agricultural commodity trading center for cross-border trade between Vietnam and China. These steps were taken after efforts to implement a logistics infrastructure planning strategy; including a logistics center, bonded warehouses, and dry ports to connect raw material areas, agricultural and aquatic areas with traffic hubs such as railways, seaports, airports, and border gates; to reduce time and costs in the circulation of goods. From March 5 to 7: Viettel Post has worked closely with municipal governments and enterprises in the capital Nanning and Pingxiang of Guangxi to reach formal agreements. In Nanning; Viettel Post cooperated with municipal governments in an effort to become a leading cross-border logistics infrastructure builder as the first Vietnamese logistics company to cooperate with local governments in China; to enhance cross-border transport infrastructure, aiming to optimize. logistics costs, reduce transportation time, enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods; and enhance Vietnam's logistics position in connecting ASEAN countries and China. Bangladesh Rolls Out Debut Logistics Policy Bangladesh has introduced its inaugural logistics policy, aiming for sustainable economic growth by enhancing trade and investment capabilities through a modern, efficient, and eco-friendly logistics system. Published in the gazette by the Prime Minister’s Office on April 28, the policy targets reducing delays and costs across logistics services, fostering efficiency from production to distribution, based on global standards. To oversee implementation, two key committees will be established: the National Council for Logistics Development (NCLD) and the National Logistics Development and Coordination Committee (NLDCC). The NCLD, led by the Prime Minister, will guide policy implementation and amendments, while the NLDCC, headed by the principal secretary, will monitor progress. Recognising existing challenges such as high logistics costs, the policy outlines strategic reforms to boost export earnings by 19 per cent even as it emphasised multi-dimensional transport systems to streamline domestic cargo movement, aiming to reduce road transport from 77 per cent to 60 per cent, while enhancing waterway and railway transport. Action plans within the policy span infrastructure development, connectivity enhancement, and streamlining trade procedures. It proposes connecting airports, seaports, economic zones, and industrial areas via highways and railways. Additionally, it advocates for modernising seaport equipment, establishing more inland container depots, and rationalising port charges. The policy underscores private sector involvement through public-private partnerships, aiming to address obstacles hindering efficient logistics operations. According to reports, while stakeholders commended the policy’s arrival, some expressed regret over its delayed implementation.
