It appears to be the case that the differences between and the capabilities of the three different reasoning approaches (deduction, induction, and abduction) are causing people to misunderstand what artificial intelligence can actually and reliably do. Also, there seems to be a dispute in the scientific community as to the nature of the relation between abduction and the other reasoning approaches. Is abduction a completely different animal or is abduction build on deduction + induction. The bottom line is this: With deductive reasoning, no human needs to be in the loop. But with both inductive reasoning and abductive reasoning a human MUST be in the loop if you want reliability. What am I missing? What am I misunderstanding? Please put your feedback into the comments and sort this out.

There are 3 critical intelligences for success at work: 1. Intellectual Intelligence (IQ): Uses logic and reasoning to understand and solve technical problems. 2. Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Manages own emotions and understands emotions of those around you. 3. Group Intelligence (GQ): Understands and intervenes in groups to identify underlying issues, get work done, and make change happen. I teach how to persuade and sell to senior marketing clients | Training | Workshop Facilitator | Marketing & Brand Consultant
What is an insight? There are thousands of explanations available. But almost none have been useful to me. The reason it bothered me for years, is because how can I possibly be insightful or help others become insightful, if I don't know what's an insight? So, after several attempts, here's my contribution to this polarising topic. - What is an insight: A thoughtful opinion that explains the why behind an observation, anomaly or pattern. How to test if you have an insight: When you look back, the insight will clarify the reason behind the occurrence of certain observations, anomalies or patterns that you couldn’t explain earlier. It provides you with the ‘because of,’ behind the things that are happening. What does it mean to be ‘insightful’: Being insightful is sharing a thoughtful opinion that makes others reconsider their opinion. - Happy to debate this.

An Emotionally Intelligent HR Practitioner I Experienced in Learning, Development, and Training at Westland Insurance | Customer Service Specialist | Multilingual Mentor I An Experienced Teacher
I found a new intelligence concept- GQ i.e. Group Intelligence Quotient. I believe this quotient plays a significant role in any organizational success as a team. It reminds me to align this concept with the practically applied tools such as facilitation, conflict resolutions, and change management models during my academic journey at KPU.

There are SO many numbers. 3, 8, and even 12—need I go on? Often, I have too many numbers. My analysis looks like a conspiracy board: fascinating, yet nothing to learn at a closer look. Qualitative feedback has changed that for me. Across almost everything I build now, I make it easy for users to tell me: - What they wanted - How they felt things went I quantify parts of it. Top categories. % of promoters. The real gold, though? Their own words. I've found points of friction I never imagined. Things my "clear" instructions missed. Issues hiding beneath "good" conversion rates. It's a balancing act, though. One bad review doesn't mean nuke the program from orbit. It means I need to listen better. It's far too easy to separate the screens from the people behind them. That's why I mix stories and numbers. It's where the truth lives. What helps you find that balance?
