💥 Looking forward to an epic later . 📺 I’ve really enjoyed this tournament, watched most games & it’s reminded me a lot about what you need to do for your team to succeed : ⚽️ There is no ‘one size fits all ‘ in modern teamwork , where research ( knowing todays opponents & field of play ) adaptability, dynamic problem solving & communication is key . ⚽️ Having the right skillset in the right role to get the best from them & if this isn’t possible, taking remedial action to support those ‘out of position’ ⚽️ The team has ‘starters & finishers’ - the people who come on through the game, can change the dynamic & inject motivation, energy & opportunity for the wider team ⚽️ It’s not how you start that matters, it’s how you finish. Teams who win get better as the competition goes on . ⚽️ A mix of experience & young talent delivers huge benefits 🥅 And as for the manager, Gareth Southgate, who’s been living this Steve Jobs quote : ‘ If you want to make everyone happy, don’t be a leader, sell Ice Cream ‘ Thanks & good luck tonight 😉 #Leadership #Teamwork #Winning

It is designed to automate workflows by connecting various applications and services. It is awesome for automating digital marketing.

In two years' time, what skills might your future self wish you had invested in today to boost your adaptability? I'm troubled by how the chart below - which captures hirers' perspective - mashes up traits, drivers and competencies under the generic umbrella of 'skills'. But aside from this sloppiness, I'm even more troubled by the fact that: ↳ Change agility - which is much more than 'creative thinking' and encompasses curiosity, continuous learning, the courage to experiment and take risks, resilience and emotional regulation under pressure - is sorely missing ↳ Critical thinking is also a notable pass ↳ Social skills and empathy in the age of AI, anyone? ↳ Independent working ranks so high, when today's world in flux critically calls for joined-up thinking & cross-boundary collaboration ↳ And finally, given that this is hirers' perspective, I can only be amused by the fact that "passion" and "dedication" are listed there as if candidates are meant to just put those in the bag and bring them on their first day at work - and not at all a matter of employers creating the conditions for "passion" and "dedication" to be ignited and channeled in the right way 😬 Curious what else you're noticing in this chart; and how you see your own "skills of the future" evolving...

How do we teach skills we don’t have? The short answer is we don’t. None of these skills are even part of the curriculum. Teaching is force-feeding information that doesn’t matter to students who aren’t listening. Who can blame them? There is no future for this. Facilitated learning (think Finland) incorporates all these skills seamlessly. It is the opposite of teaching. Teaching doesn’t work. As long as it takes for that to sink in is as long as it’s going to be before it’s eradicated.

Best place to celebrate a birthday!! All jokes aside, Kwik Trip seriously is the greatest gas station around! The Kwik Trip mission is to treat others as they would like to be treated and putting the consumer at such a high priority has made the chain thrive to the noteriety it has now. Given the lengthy process and supply chain of getting gas all the way to your local station from the ground of which it came, profit margins on gas are low. So low, that gas station owners can really only make their money from the goods inside the building they sell. “So what makes it so special?” Great question reader, and it is because Kwik Trip has taken out the complex supply chain of its products inside the store and sources a lot of them directly from a Kwik Trip owned kitchen. This doesn’t only make their goods delicious, it makes them extremely affordable too! We eat tasty treats, Kwik Trip still makes it’s money. This can be contained by a tight-knit geographical leash which keeps Kwik Trip mainly in Wisconsin. That turns the focus onto a narrow number of areas within the business such as food quality, cleanliness, and customer service which gave Kwik Trip the #1 spot of gas stations ranked by USA Today. In my 22 years on this Earth, I have never gone into a Kwik Trip and had a negative experience with an employee. That confidence probably comes from child care, healthcare, scholarships, 40% profit sharing, and recognition programs among many other benefits available to their staff. Regardless of what Kwik Trip does or does not do great, there is plenty that we can learn as businesspeople about how putting the consumer first instead of analyzing their consumer habits and manipulating them can really help a company thrive. The welcoming atmosphere at Kwik Trip is no joke and paired with Midwest hospitality it becomes unbeatable, so I get why this guy would want his birthday to be there!

The most evolved way of speaking is without words. Connecting vibrationally is something our ancestors did but as we didn’t nurture this super power, we forgot we had it. Then we forgot that we forgot. And so we lost this gift. We live in a world where we are unable to communicate effectively with our own Self. More often than not we don’t even listen to our Self and our true feelings and desires. We listen to what we ‘should’ do and what we ‘should’ feel. It’s no wonder we are unable to communicate with others. Misunderstandings occur because we are not listening. First listen. Drop into feeling, be aware of your vibration. You will recognise whether there is a mutual understanding with another. Or not. …less words more feeling.
