I never planned on running a company. But, this is how I built BRS... Unintentionally 🚀
Many of us have a secret (or not-so-secret) dislike for certain parts of the traditional corporate world. Imagine my scenario (early 30's): a deep aversion to having an office or phone contract, and no clue about German tax system. These dislikes, ironically, were the seeds for a company that grew organically through seeking complementary partnerships. 🌱
So in fact, out of pure laziness or lack of interest, I was forced to find people who knew it better and convince them to strut their stuff for BRS - leveraging my personal dislikes or limitations 😉 to build the A-Team.
I then grew into a flow, envisioning a business thriving on flexibility and creativity, a narrative shared by entrepreneurs who transform their personal dislikes into unique business traits, resonating with like-minded folks.
Then I found my Co-CEO 🤝
When faced with my lack of knowledge with the management and German business regulations side of things, rather than seeing a barrier, I saw an opportunity to hand that over from the very beginning. This led to welcoming my Co-CEO and BRS Managing Director, Judith Hoch, a partnership that exemplified how diverse knowledge bases can create a resilient and agile company. This journey highlights how businesses evolve dynamically, adapting and growing through internal motivations and external collaborations, often leading to surprising and fulfilling outcomes.
I'm often quizzed on how BRS was built. This isn't just my story; it's a nod to entrepreneurs everywhere, using their unique paths and dislikes to craft unconventional yet successful businesses.
!! There's never a single or simply way for founding successful companies. Let's motivate each other with our unique entrepreneurial journeys! 💼✨
