As my last week at Plessey Semiconductors Ltd as Chief Operating Officer comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on this amazing experience. For the last 9 months, I have felt fortunate to be a part of such a great team. The good vibes, mutual respect, and collaboration made every day enjoyable. Despite facing difficult situations at the beginning, everyone responded well to my ideas and suggestions, accepting my challenges and reacting quickly to my suggestions. I am proud of what we achieved together and the significant impact it had on our customers. Together, we promoted a no-nonsense culture where we learned from our mistakes and overcame them day after day. Our management team spent significant energy communicating ideas and positions, rallying around our common goals, and staying close to where everything happens – the Fab. We focused on changing behaviors as much as improving performance to make everything stick. We identified "opportunity hunters" - strong people who thrive on chasing after the next opportunity to change or improve things - and put them in key positions in the organization. And finally, we found our way to manage customer expectations properly by changing how we communicated with them. All this work done in such a short time is simply amazing. I want to thank everyone for taking part in it and making it fun and exciting for me. There's a lot more work to be done going forward, and this is just the beginning of a new journey. To each and everyone at Plessey Semiconductors Ltd I wish continued success!
