CDC Drafted Alert for Myocarditis and COVID-19 Vaccines, but Never Sent It. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) prepared to alert state and local officials to an emerging connection between heart inflammation and COVID-19 vaccines, but ultimately did not send the alert, according to a new document obtained by The Epoch Times. 💉🚫The CDC has received reports of unintentional administration of RSV vaccines (Arexvy or Abrysvo) to infants instead of the recommended RSV monoclonal antibody nirsevimab (Beyfortus). Arexvy and Abrysvo lack safety data in infants and are not yet approved for this population. RSV vaccine Abrysvo shows safety in immunocompromised adults.   Pfizer has announced encouraging topline results from the Phase III MONeT study of #Abrysvo, its RSV vaccine.   The study found that a single 120 µg dose elicited strong neutralizing responses against RSV-A and RSV-B in immunocompromised adults, a group currently without approved vaccines.   The safety profile of Abrysvo remained consistent with earlier studies. #PCV This study aimed to assess the #safety, #tolerability, and #immunogenicity of #V116, an investigational 21-valent PCV designed for adults. V116 was #noninferior to #PCV20 for the ten serotypes common to both vaccines and superior to PCV20 for all serotypes unique to V116, except for 15C. Immune responses successfully #immunobridged between younger and older adults for all serotypes in V116.
