Some examples of things that can lead to distraction and failure on NCKEX include: nursing student illness, caregiver fatigue for a sick or dying family member, or death a family member. How many case studies do nursing students get in NCLEX exam? Typically students usually report receiving 4-5 six question case studies in addition to multiple single question case studies. Case studies were created by NCSBN as a critical thinking piece for new nurse graduates. These items are a bit more difficult for new nurses than LPN or international nurses because they already have developed those critical thinking skills. How do nursing students feel after failing NCLEX exam? The word that comes to mind is devastated. That’s what most nursing students who message me say. “I failed my NCLEX exam & I’m devastated.” Nursing students also voice to me that they have failed NCLEX multiple times & that they’re frustrated & they don’t know what to do to pass NCLEX exam. One of my nursing student’s Tianna, came to me for NCLEX tutoring after failing once. I focused on teaching Tianna to slow down when answering the questions and look for keywords, & narrow her answers down to 2. I take a lot about NCLEX tutoring but NCLEX coaching is just as vital for nursing students to pass NCLEX. I give my nursing students support in and out of tutoring sessions. Tianna reported a huge confidence boost from having frequent communication, motivation, & encouragement from me! Hit the follow button for more NGN/nursing school tips/tricks! It can be difficult to manage different areas of care in nursing when you’ve been out of bedside care. It can be difficult to support medical needs in the school setting when bedside nursing is your main focus. Then you must add the nursing setting in the physician’s office. Understanding how to support the medical needs of students prek-12th grades is so important and not necessarily a totally understood concept BUT it must be recognized! It is essential for the future educators, lawyers, doctors, nurses and more, for many generations to come! Educators, School Administrators, School Nurse, School Clinic Workers, parents/guardians MUST come together to support our future leaders in their educational endeavors! Please support every single person who is there to help guide our future leaders as they grow to learn and learn to be healthy so they can grow! #youcan’tlearnifyou’renothealthy#youmustlearntobehealthytolearn

How do nursing students get accomodations for the NCLEX exam? Why don’t more students ask for testing accomodations on the NCLEX exam? Most nursing students think the process is too difficult. In order to apply for accommodations on the NCLEX exam, nursing students need to contact their NRB (nursing regulatory body) a.k.a. their state BON. Nursing students should include a letter written by themselves explaining the need for an accommodation, followed by a letter from the physician with an official diagnosis, and documentation from the disability office if these services were used in nursing school. Accommodations may include: extra time allowed, a private room to rest in, or a reader. Hit the follow button for more NGN/nursing school tips/tricks!
