Donald J Burzynski:: Rich Burzynski’s Dad (Graphics Dept.) •Army 1941-1945 •Passed over 3 times to be sent to the German front •Protected the Gallipolis Islands and the Panama Canal He crossed paths with the same Army buddy at every post during the War. When he returned home the same army buddy started a church down the street from the party store my father owned. This pastor started Bethesda which is now located off of 16 mile and Schoenherr. After my Father retired, he purchased a home in Sterling Heights not knowing Pastor Beal lived down the street.

Paul Anthony Klozik: Dave Klozik’s Dad (Sales Dept) •Korean War, 1950-1953 •Army - 49th Field Artillery Battalion, 7th Infantry Division •Location of Service: Camp Chaffee, Arkansas; and Korea •Service History Note: He served as a forward observer. He was a prisoner of war (POW) from 10/05/1952 to 04/22/1953.  These photos are when Dad returned from being a POW in Korea with his Dad and his family behind him. He was part of Operation Little Switch that traded wounded Military POW’s with South Korea. Dad Passed away in 2016.

Sgt. Stewart Maclaren: Craig Maclaren’s Uncle (Engineering Dept.) He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) during WWII. He was part of a crew of 7 on a Halifax bomber. In August of 1943 on the return leg of the bombing mission, their plane was shot down over Germany. None of the crew survived. They were all buried near Bad Tolz Germany, south of Munich.

John Raymond Rebits: John Price’s Uncle (Engineering dept.) •Deployed to Vietnam in April 1968. Died in action on Feb 3, 1969. “I was 7 at the time, but I was told he died trying to rescue an injured fellow soldier. My mom has so many stories of Jim (his twin) & John playing hockey and all the mischief they got into. I remember how strong he was. He would lift weights, jog around the zoo, & was just getting into Scuba. So many Memorial weekends our family gathered in his remembrance.”

Walter John Stanczyk, Jr.: Dave Stanczyk’s Dad (Manufacturing Dept.) •United States Air Force 1965-1969 •Fighter jet mechanic •Stationed in Kansas, Colorado, and Thailand during the Vietnam War •Buried in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Township, MI.

I live behind the Pasques who started Paslin. Dan Sr. (Previous owner/President) They are the kindest, most generous people. Dan died a couple years back. But, the Legacy of that Family is Paslin. Great post. Thank you to ALL who served and died for this Country!!! ❤️🙌🏻👊🏻

Andrew C. Staza: Andrew Staza’s Grandfather (Estimating Dept.) •WWII veteran •United States Coast Guard / Merchant Marine 1941 – 1945

Edward H. Rice: Deb Rheaume’s Dad (Finance Dept.) •Air Force Cook – Korean War •Stationed in Tripoli
