I ALWAYS prioritize applications coming through our careers page. But if 100 candidates apply through the careers page, 99 are going to get rejected at some point in the process. If someone takes the time to go through our application process on our website, they deserve a rejection email from a person they can respond to. Not only did they seek out our organization's career page, but they also had a chance to look through our website and utilize the information our teams have put together for their benefit. The least we can do is provide an email letting candidates know they have not been selected. #jobapplications #recruitment #rejection

Above all we as candidates must also apply with intention and not just apply for everything like throwing mud on to a wall to see what sticks. I realised that from the recruitment side that must be a challenge for recruiters. The ratio of qualifying applicants versus those that aren’t qualified and having to identify that, with today’s volume of applicants, while everyone is just throwing everything your way.
