Your child's oral health is our top priority! Here's what to do in case of two common dental emergencies: 🔵 Knocked-Out Tooth: If your child's permanent tooth gets knocked out, act fast! Gently rinse it with milk or saline solution (never water) to preserve the root cells. Try to place it back in the socket if possible, and if not, keep it moist in milk. Then, reach out to us immediately for expert care! ⏰💨 🟣 Broken Tooth: When a tooth breaks, time is crucial! Save any fragments, rinse the mouth gently with warm water, and contact our team right away for guidance. We're here to ensure your child's smile stays bright and healthy! 🦷🚑 #DentalEmergency #OralHealth #EmergencyCare #PediatricDentist

Let’s talk #PelvicHealth The 2024 Origin Pelvic Health Study in the U.S. revealed concerning statistics regarding pelvic health among women aged 18 to 59. In the study, 75% of women surveyed reported experiencing multiple pelvic health issues within the past year, including bladder and bowel problems, as well as pelvic pain. Despite the high prevalence of these symptoms, an overwhelming 96% of women had not received a diagnosis related to their condition from a healthcare provider. 64% of women acknowledged that these symptoms negatively impacted their lives. There were significant gaps in prenatal and postpartum care, with many women reporting feeling unsupported by medical providers during these critical periods. In Canada, stats suggest that only 1 in 12 people seek out treatment because they are embarrassed to talk about incontinence or don’t know that help is available. Healthcare providers and advocates are encouraging women, especially new moms, to break away from the #Taboo and seek out help for pelvic floor issues. There is a ton of research suggesting that many cases of incontinence in aging women can be improved with exercise and treated with physiotherapy. Experts like kinesthiologists and physiotherapists can support here - if you are looking to connect with such a provider, reach out to our nurse navigation team. #WomensHealth #PelvicHealth

Ensuring the smiles of future generations! #ChildrensDentalHealth #OralHealthForKids #WhiteDiamondConsulting The Importance of Baby Teeth: Aiding in Digestion: Baby teeth play a crucial role in the digestion process by helping children chew food properly, facilitating digestion, and promoting overall nutrition and growth. Speech Development: The significance of baby teeth in speech development is they provide support for the tongue and lips, enabling children to pronounce sounds correctly and develop language skills. Maintaining Space: Baby teeth serve as placeholders for permanent teeth, guiding them into their proper positions. It is so important to reserve baby teeth, to prevent alignment issues and the need for orthodontic treatment later on.
