Our partners with esports centers and academies hold the same beliefs that we do, for example, equally prioritizing character-building and performance. Their esports training sessions, which are powered by the ECA are: ➡ Team-based and promotes a sense of belonging. ➡ In-person, which enables better teamwork and social development. ➡ Include and promote the importance of physical activity and fitness. ➡ Promote and develop mental toughness. ➡ Include deliberate in-game practice targeting core gaming mechanics. ➡ Develop knowledge of games and game design elements. If you are an esports center or academy and need ready-to-run high-quality programming, book a demo for a preview.

Great article for any school planning to engage with esports. At West Buckland School, co-ed day and boarding school for 3-18 year olds in North Devon we have started with a grass-roots ECA program that will lead into a BTEC program that focuses on the business model, the coding, the marketing and the nature of the sport. When you see the contribution this sector makes to the U.K. economy, never mind elsewhere, we really need to provide young people with the know-how to contribute and influence how this journey goes…
🎮 Esports is not just about gaming; it's about building skills, fostering engagement, and opening up new career pathways for learners. That said, many challenges stand in the way of schools that wish to start an esports program: for instance, securing administrative approval and funding. This article explores how one school district overcame these challenges, emphasizing the importance of networking and collaboration among school administrators to learn from one another's experiences and provide support in implementation. 🤝 #k12 #k12education #k12schools #education #school #esports #esportsedu #edtech #EDUtechAsia

Introducing ✨ LIFT//OFF ✨ — a program designed to elevate players into potential athletes, fully governed and led by VALORANT players in the ecosystem. This collaboration with VALORANT SA aims to recognize and reward skilled players who can mentor and train others to improve their gameplay. To be a trainer, you don’t need to be certified to apply. All you need is a thorough understanding of VALORANT, an empathetic mindset, and the ability to identify a player's strengths and weaknesses. For players, this program offers a serious community to play with, a competitive edge by learning from high-ranked players, and daily or weekly grind sessions to help you steadily rank up alongside your team. Think of it as an opportunity to be on your silver-to-diamond arc. Creators will serve as the driving force of the program, acting much like team owners. They will motivate and hold the team accountable while also producing high-quality content that showcases the progress of players. The larger goal here is to experiment with new models that can reshape how gamers engage with their favorite titles. A big shout out to the VALORANT team in India for joining us in taking this exciting step forward. Applications for LIFT//OFF will be opening soon, keep an eye out! Ishank Gupta Manish Agarwal
