Achieving success in a highly competitive industry within a short period of time requires genuine employee engagement, cross-team collaboration, and innovation. Since filming the video case study at Kerzner International, that is the argument I’ve been a bit obsessed with trying to articulate. This month I penned something for Luxury Hospitality mag (which in itself I think is pretty cool) on this exact topic - shoutout to Anna Startin for the opportunity. The hospitality industry is on the cusp of its own revolution, and the smart players have understood that EX is where it’s at. By fostering a culture of employee wellbeing and empowerment businesses can boost staff morale, boost employee retention, and cultivate an environment where customer experience can flourish because of great employee experiences.

One important aspect in the hospitality industry that is often overlooked but should not be is employee well-being and satisfaction.... The hospitality industry is built on a foundation of service, warmth, and welcoming smiles. However, beneath the surface lies a grueling reality that takes a toll on those who work tirelessly to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.
