The Oakland Ballers have teamed up with The Unity Council, to make history with the team’s first annual Latine heritage game on Saturday, August 17th. ⚾️🏟️💛 Día de los Ballers is a tribute to the leaders, artists, organizers, and everyday people that came before and built Oakland’s vibrant Latine community, and a celebration of those who continue to sustain and advance our community’s future. Everywhere we go, the neighborhood comes with us. So, we’re bringing the East to the West for a festive day of Oakland baseball at Raimondi Park, featuring our music, our food, and our people. 🌳❤️✨ Join us at Día de los Ballers for a day filled with culture, community, and celebration, and included in your ticket is a pre game “Tardeada” with music, drink specials, food, and face painting for the kids. 🎉🎶👧🍕🪇🎤🎸🥁 @losrakas @marthasoledadsol @reyesdeltrono The celebration continues through the game, as we honor, celebrate, and give thanks to the ✨🌸powerful women from the past and present✨🧠 who have relentlessly built, supported, and progressed our community. 💐💕🧠 👉Arabella Martinez, The Unity Council 👉Caheri Gutierrez The Unity Council 👉Sarah Chavez-Yoell Chavez, PG&E 👉Karely Ordaz Salto, MPA Ordaz, San Francisco Foundation 👉Daniela Medina, MSW Medina, City of Oakland 👉Maria Sanchez, The Unity Council 🫡⭐️Including those pioneers who came before us⭐️🫡 👉Noel Gallo, D5 Councilmember 👉Chris Iglesias, CEO of The Unity Council 👉Marsha Murrington, Former Executive VP of The Unity Council Every ticket purchased through the link below 🔗 will create a $10 donation to The Unity Council https://lnkd.in/gYuVirGB
