World Water Day, is not a day to be celebrated. It’s here to remind us that the work is far from over. Today, over 2 billion people still don’t have access to safe water. At Water4, we believe the only way to end the water crisis is through building safe water businesses that last. Businesses that are rooted in love, value people as customers, deliver reliable water that people can build their lives on. It’s a hand-up, not a handout, a solution built on compassion, not pity. This is how we’ll end the water crisis. This is how we’ll end the need for World Water Day. Give today at Water4.org/donate 💧 #worldwaterday

Water for Peace 🕊️ Today, 22nd of March, we celebrate World Water Day 💧 For us this United Nations celebration is particularly important, as it is our mission to increase water security. On this day we celebrate our commitment to addressing global challenges in clean water. Walking for Water has been working with local partners in African countries to supply clean water systems for communities in need. It is in our mission to make these solutions viable, accessible, and long-lasting. We work to create a lasting effect with communities we help. Together with our partners, sponsors, volunteers, and donators, we have created a lot of impact. However, in 2024, there is still an ongoing global water crisis. You can help by donating, sponsoring or volunteering in organizations that help provide clean water globally. ➡️ If you want to join us, you can do so by clicking here: https://lnkd.in/gRvg-AXY ➡️ Visit also UN website for Water Day resources. We believe that even more good can be created when clean water is available. 🕊️ @w4wngo #w4wngo #WorldWaterDay #water #sustainabledevelopment #sustainability

Access to clean water is a basic human right, yet many Indigenous communities in Canada are still fighting for it. That’s why, through Intrepid Travel's Foundation, we’re launching a fundraiser in support of Water First Education & Training Inc. For Indigenous peoples, water is sacred and intricately tied to cultural identity. Yet, many face ongoing water crises—from boil water advisories to environmental contamination. This is about more than just water; it's about justice and long-term solutions. Water First is tackling these challenges by training people in Indigenous communities to become water treatment operators and offering water science workshops. We are raising crucial funds for these programs. For every $250 you raise, you’ll earn a ballot for a chance to win an Intrepid trip to Antarctica—where you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about water science and the importance of protecting our planet’s resources. Help us support Indigenous communities as they secure clean water for future generations 🌎🐧💙 https://lnkd.in/gdRuDjST

💦 #WaterIsAHumanRight and today is World Water Day. Fact: 703 million people globally lack secure access to clean drinking water... and that's a vast number of individuals. Concrete solutions and relief are provided by the team at Viva con Agua , led by the ever-present Michael Fritz and Benjamin Adrion in their mission for water. Incidentally, the water in the bottles from #VcA comes from Husum in northern Germany. The water in the affected parts of the world (mostly Africa) comes from groundwater wells. Therefore, anyone who enjoys drinking water should always be aware: Water is absent for around 411 million people, or they lack access to it. What can we, the ones who have, therefore do: donate, support, and spread the word. That's the least we can do and a start. Viva con Agua has been active in this mission since 2006: Global access to clean drinking water and basic sanitation. A project that also shows: Local to global can work. #WorldWaterDay #HumansRight
