For the 7th sitting in a row since April 17th, Kibera court, Principal Magistrate Monicah Maroro, was unable to deliver the judgement in 9 yr ivory case due to it being too late in the day. Previous reasons, the judgement was not ready (3), the Magistrate was unwell (2), reason not provided (1). The three accused are prison warders and charged with dealing in 5 kg of ivory in 2015. The matter has had approximately 70 sittings since arraignment. It will be back in court on September 24th for another attempt to conclude this matter. https://lnkd.in/dfDGUxQw
