Cumbria Wildlife Trust are embarking on an incredible journey to restore temperate rainforest on Skiddaw in Cumbria, with the support of Aviva and generous donations from members of the public. While the challenges are real – from harsh winds to a short growing season – with planting, seeding, and natural regeneration, the trees will return. In time, this vibrant forest will bring back wildlife, help store carbon, and transform Skiddaw into a thriving ecosystem.
